So dinosaurs are running free in modern day and people are still hanging out at drive-in theaters?

I'm still amazed the first JW slipped by the wokescolds, what with Bryce spending the last half of the movie bouncing around in pumps and a sweaty wife beater. I have no opinion of Chris Pratt. He's that guy who's in stuff.

Because they are trying to market this as a coherent pay off to what was merely narrative diarrhea and distract you with memberberries.
Its precisely that they're trotting out the old beloved actors that makes me suspect they've got a shitty movie in store. The basic idea of dinosaurs actually interacting with the human world beyond the islands or a small compound is a good one. It made for an entertaining section in 2 even if it was fairly brief.

Chances are this is going into some full retard story beats interspersed between CGI dinosaurs tearing apart things.

Rate me late but I just discovered this because I've been avoiding the trailers like the plague. Just found out that the Quetzalcoatlus is in the film and I'm honestly fucking stoked. It's my favorite pterosaur ever and when the Dinosaurs in the Desert exhibit was going on at the Phoenix Zoo, getting to stand in front of the Quetzalcoatlus animatronic was fascinating and pants-shitting. Even the Utahraptor animatronic had nothing on that beast.

If it has the scariest scene in the movie, I'll be satisfied. The pterodactyl cage in JW3 was great and was more awesome and terrifying in the theater (I was a kid, shaddup). Gimme my aerial terrorists.

The pteros in JP3 were also creepy, imo. Or maybe pterodactyls in general are very creepy animals. I've been freaked out by them since Fantasia.

Porbably the way they can walk on their wings, but for all JP3 many flaws they were a highlight. Most large modern birds that aren't raptors are freaky as hell, like Pelicans swallowing things whole or Shoebills and their murder eyes

I say this someone who has done research on wild crocodilians and interacts with venomous snakes regularly; birds are fucking terrifying.
Herons & Egrets will (defensively, of course) try and use their beak to impale the eye of any potential predator.

I've never seen a Cassowary in the wild, but those things are pretty much living velociraptors with beaks. They have huge legs with a huge upturned claw to impale and slash perceived threats to their territory.

I mean, modern birds are just little raptors without the teeth and hand claws. Except for the big ones that are still the same size as their Cretaceous cousins. I have not forgotten when I went to the San Diego Zoo and saw the Andean Condor up close. It's nothing short of amazing that a bird that big can actually fly.

Quite frankly I'll be happy if I go my whole life without seeing a wild Cassowary. Luckily I have no plans to visit Australia so unless I'm somewhere where one escapes I should be safe.

Have only seen them in zoos and sanctuaries through out my life but cassowaries are indeed pretty frightening in person, I would absolutely shit myself if I saw one with out a fence separating us.

Even though it's covered in feathers, you can just tell how powerful they are by looking at them, those log legs are something.

Also I have just always hated the way birds dart their heads around, fucking freaks me out.

I re-watched the first movie and still find it very enjoyable. Its a shame that the subsequent movies seemed to decrease in quality/never could match up to the first.

I was kind of surprised that the OG cast (or at least the main 3) were never asked to reunite in the 2015 movie. Maybe they were saving them as a last ditch nostalgia bait if the subsequent movies had a lukewarm response?
