Use a compartmentalized identity

Kiwi Farms is controversial. Some people try to identify or harass users. You are welcome to register, but you should use an account that is separate from your real identity and from accounts you use elsewhere.

  • Use a username you have never used before.
  • Use an email address you control long-term, but not one tied to your real name or other accounts.
  • Use a unique password that you do not use on any other website.
  • Do not reuse avatars, biographies, usernames, or personal details from other accounts.
  • Avoid public/shared networks if being linked to this account would create risk. Use VPN or Tor if you need network-level separation.

Accounts let you bookmark posts, watch threads for updates, save searches, resume reading where you left off, and participate in discussion.
