I know and work with a few white-collar black Americans. They are intelligent, honest, motivated individuals and any company would be lucky to have them as employees. I truly feel bad for them since they get lumped in with niggers like Johnny by people everywhere when stories like this pop up.
Having said the above disclaimer, the following describes Johnny perfectly:
One of the few things I know for certain about prisons, regardless of country, is this: You really, really don't want the other inmates to think you're a faggot. You can be an intimidating, physically jacked gay dude and no one will fuck with you, sure, but I'm talking about being seen as a physically weak, twink faggot.
Another certainty: you don't want to be any kind of celebrity if you are serving time among the general population. If everyone knows who you are before you arrive, you're fucked.
Johnny is totally fucked on both of these points:
Add to this mix guards that hate your fucking guts and are more than happy to put you in dangerous environments while turning a blind eye, asians loathe blacks and disrespectful tourists, you're being incarcerated in an overcrowded prison, etc. and you have a fate worse than death. It would actually be better to die by firing squad than to be placed in a holding facility in Johnny's situation.
If this Korean holding facility is anywhere near as bad as what I've been hearing, I'm pretty sure Johnny's fate will be something like the following: He will probably get beaten senseless (literally) and possibly raped by his cellmates the same day he arrives in prison. If the guards have any control over his placement, they will put Johnny in the worst possible cell and ignore what happens to him there. Medical attention will be slow and subpar, because well, it's prison. Other inmates will regularly beat him and steal his food. This might go on for a few months before he finally gets beaten to death. The official report will probably state that his death was accidental, something akin to "slipped on a bar of soap". No authorities will question it. TND South Korean style. The only way he might escape all this is if he is rushed to the hospital at some point on account of being a US citizen b/c diplomatic ties and all that.
I think Johnny's own legal counsel despised him so much that they purposefully gave him bad legal advice. Can't be proven of course, but I have a hunch it's why he plead not guilty and made an appeal. No way they wouldn't have known the consequences of doing that. To me, this is the funniest part of the whole ordeal. Your own legal advocate hates you so much that he purposely fucked you over with bad counsel. Ha ha ha-- MOHSTU DISHONORUBU!
Again, I pity blacks living in South Korea who are good people. The asians will lump them into the same group of obstreperous nuisance niggers like Johnny, and they don't deserve it.
