He didn't make his situation worse. The prosecution also filed an appeal about the sentence, which would have fucked him the same way regardless.

It made him more of a laughingstock. The appeal takes six months anyway. He gains nothing by appealing other than waste paperwork. It makes sense for the prosecutor to appeal. However, there is no scenario in which his sentence can be shortened so him appealing is just a hole in the water. It is pointless and he would screw himself pointlessly if the prosecution didn't appeal as well.
 
The only thing we need now is some footage of Salami being mobbed in the detention center. And from what I understand is that his labor sentence begins in May but thanks to the appeal he now has to return to the detention center instead of the prison. This is such a shitshow and it couldn't happen to a nicer person
 
The detention facility sounds lovely and made me laugh. Below is all hearsay.

They are at 130% capacity and have these dudes stacked 6-7 to a room. Where you have to sleep on the floor touching each other.

No A/C so it's a hotbox of bodies.

They get to shower every other day and fights are had over hot water.. so enjoy the cold showers

They get plenty of outside req time. 30mins every other Saturday.

There is like no talking because the guards only speak Korean and no takes the time to translate.

The great thing about the appeals process in South Korea is the perp has to stay in prison for the entire length of time that the appeals process and new trial requires. And it can be a significantly longer period of time than the 6 months he was sentenced to, AND it can be appealed up to three times. So even if the 6 months sticks, if it gets appealed three times, he could still end up being behind bars for a couple of years.

Sure, but it doesn't change that in the end his appeal is meaningless for multiple reasons and Atozy is a faggot for misrepresenting what was going on.

Yeah but he really isn't learning. He has no idea that the six months of labor was as good as it gets for him. As for Atozy, I really can't bring myself to care. Standard talking head sensationalism.

No, they have something worse, rice paddies. When I was there rice seedlings were transplanted by hand from seed beds into rows within paddies. Very hard work. Suggest this has been almost entirely mechanized by now, but transplanting rice by hand, placing each seedling in a water-filled paddy all day long would be a great job for this no-good son-of-a-bitch.

Worse then prison, he has to stay in the horribly overcrowded Nambu detention center for the length of time of his entire prison term PLUS however long the new trial takes. The extra time will be applied to his sentence but he couldn't have played himself any worse.

Atozy didn't misrepresent this, he said the exact same thing that either way he's going to be in the detention centre for the duration of the appeal since both sides appealed. He just lead with the funnier aspect, that Johnny played himself before the prosecution dropped the hammer on him too.

Gotta make that bag, cos Johnny ain't making a cent off himself! :lit:

I could settle for 18 months of detention in a shitole and 6 months hard labor. I wouldn't feel ripped off at all.
