No, he is like Wings. Both have double, triple, quad, and to infinity downed on being a shitty horrible person.

If karma existed they are the outcome. Everytime you feel bad just go look at their shitty personalities and choices.

For example, both of them bitch about tipping.. and tip poorly... while themselves living off of tips.

Neither of them donate a CENT to charity because THEY need that money you guys..and talk poorly on people who do donate.

Or Phil upon being asked if he supported small businesses on small business day said no because HE is a small business...

And on and on.

I COULD feel bad for him but I don't. He is able to recognize his situation and refuses to better himself.

I never used it as the standard, just like you said, my point is that you COULD feel bad for him, even though it's his fault. I also really doubt he refuses to better himself, he is so stupid and retarded that he thinks he is doing everything right and that everything is other people's fault, his mind and reasoning is completely fucked up and I don't think he can fix it now.
 
I would feel bad if:

-Grieves over the loss of Jasper. But genuine grief, not like how he cried because he loved his wife so much and wanted everyone to experience the same.

-Kat is unironically abusing him

Absolutely not. I feel bad for people with cancer and other life threatening health issues they've had no control over. I dont give a shit about phil burnell having to sit in the hole he's dug for himself.

Its pathetic that phil even tries to portray himself as a victim.. while sitting on his ass for 20 years playing video games and making six figures per year. The guy isnt deserving of anyone's sympathy or pity and the only people who fall for his bullshit are people with massive dents in their head.

If you ever start to feel bad for a lolcow, just remember there's little kids right now with cancer who did nothing to deserve the position they're in. Feeling bad for grown adults who've willingly chose to embarrass theirselves on the internet is actually pretty pathetic and a waste of your time and energy.

Go ahead and rate my rambling as mati but one of the main reasons I despise phil burnell is that he preys on peoples sympathy and tries to paint himself as a poor pathetic victim you can save by giving him money. Its disgusting at every level and pure emotional manipulation that he is well aware he's doing.

The only time I ever felt bad for Phail was during the KC arc. Even though everyone knew KC was trolling him, somehow Phail really thought they were friends and that their support would last forever. Only someone with low IQ and/or a personality disorder would fall for such an obvious stunt.

Of course, immediately after Phail did the Level 666 podcast and any sympathy I might have had for him evaporated. He could have just been honest and said he was tricked, but instead he had to pretend to be in control. In his gout-addled mind, it was better to lie about your wife having cancer than get fooled by two dudes running a drama channel.

Phail isn't worthy of sympathy. He's just a low IQ narcissist who deserves every bit of scorn he receives.

TBH I dunno if KC was out from the get-go to fuck with phil. They might have started to actually try to get the dude to open up, do shit, etc. Then after he refused and tried to just use them without doing anything himself they went full scorched earth.

Then again I might be entirely wrong.

They admitted before they even spoke to Phail what their plan was. Live on their show. The only point of contention is whether or not you believe them.

PPP might have befriended Phail if he had played along, but Andy hated his guts. RIP gaming soulmate.

Yeah but it's KC. They always say something was their plan all along. You can't really take most of what they state as fact at face value.

Even that being said I'm having KC withdrawals this week.
 
I tend to feel intermittently sorry for most lolcows in isolation but it doesn't usually take long for them to quickly remind you exactly why they're in the position they're in. Sometimes I will feel bad for Phil and Wings, then they'll treat someone like utter trash, be shockingly ungrateful to people who donate to them or just be an all around horrible person and so sympathy goes out the window and I remember they're in a hole they dug themselves.
 
No. He has been a toxic asshole his entire adult life. Whether he is up or down, he will lie, cheat, and steal from his friends and family, and stab anyone in the back for a quick won.

I sometimes feel sorry for Wings and definitely did for Chris Chan before he went beyond the pale, but never Phil.

Yeah, I think PPP was coping when he said that. They obviously wanted to get massive props for managing to rehabilitate Phail's image given that he's a turbololcow but when he saw that Phil is as bad as the detractors say he is, he turned on him.
 
Update : Watched some more DSP videos today and it's really amazing how good he is at making one lose sympathy and empathy for him. He always go on about the detractors but on his LTG videos, you can clearly see he enjoys revealing LTG's real name and the stuff about child support in case a viewer didn't know.
Any suggestions on meltdowns of DSP I should watch? The banana song one is hilarious, his LTG rants are too.
