The only time I ever felt bad for Phail was during the KC arc. Even though everyone knew KC was trolling him, somehow Phail really thought they were friends and that their support would last forever. Only someone with low IQ and/or a personality disorder would fall for such an obvious stunt.
Of course, immediately after Phail did the Level 666 podcast and any sympathy I might have had for him evaporated. He could have just been honest and said he was tricked, but instead he had to pretend to be in control. In his gout-addled mind, it was better to lie about your wife having cancer than get fooled by two dudes running a drama channel.
Phail isn't worthy of sympathy. He's just a low IQ narcissist who deserves every bit of scorn he receives.
