Phil is too lazy to get a real job. There's no pity there. He puts himself in a situation where he is "unable" to do actual work or at least makes every excuse possible to convince himself and try to convince others. That's like feeling bad for a homeless person or a welfare sponge because they just can't get it together or aren't even trying.
If anything his curse is being able to make a living with what he is doing. He doesn't have to develop socially, physically, or mentally because he's coasting off a very lucky break from way earlier. He's not pressed for time like he says he is, he doesn't even edit his fucking videos. All he has to do is click upload and the computer does everything for him (and darziak). Even if it didnt he could hire one of his dents to do it for him, fuck they do it for FREE.
Ignoring all of that, people have been critiquing and criticizing him for 18 YEARS. You don't have to believe everything they say, but a reasonable person will at least take a moment and ask "is there any truth to this?". He doesn't. For him it's easier to believe the ENTIRE World is conspiring against him from customer service in America fucking his food up to Capcom in Japan including a line of code in every street fighter that says " if (player == DSP) { inputs dropped = inputs / rand()} ;
He has to want to change and he'll be dead before that happens.
 
There have been moments when I feel bad for him, but generally that stops when I remember he puts himself into these situations. Like with money, always complaining about how little money he has, yet he's the one who spends it on stupid bullshit like mousepads or a console accessory. Or whenever he gets a boost from some other streamer, he loses it immediately because he is uninteresting and incapable of understanding other folks. Like, from a philosophical sense, I do feel bad for him. He is incapable of improving himself, someone who blames everyone else for everything that goes wrong in his life. And he's lucky to have some of the tamest trolls in the lolcow industry. But at the same time, he has no one other than himself to blame for everything in his life, something he cannot do to any degree.

To follow with the sandwichfactory comparison, Phil would be a guy who doesn't really do anything during the day and complains about how no one else is doing their part, and still never gets fired for some reason. Maybe a bit literal, since that is what he is doing, but from the perspective of most people (and me in particular), he doesn't deserve the money he earns, however bad his life situation might be.
 
Is this some kind of dog whistling? Burn-in-hell-Burnell deserves every picosecond of not even suffering, just mild bothering, remember he does not work a job, he is achieving the 11 year old dream of talking to the TV and asking for money, are you retarded or something?
 
I feel bad for everyone that has come in contact with DSP, including us; it's been speculated that Linda is at fault for most of Phil's mannerisms and it's true that once you start bailing your child out, they will start to expect that salvation regularly. Where Linda was mistaken was her hope that Phil would eventually change (grow up) and be able to be a functioning adult... I expect that she will go to her grave not seeing her son sober up, have kids, complete the 10-year plan (unless that plan was a time limit on drinking himself to death), or not be in debt. The day DSP dies: he will not have changed a bit from what is on display today.

I think much like Chris Chan most of the oldtractors who actively follow DSP have been drip fed occasional bouts of him getting BTFO over the course of 15 years. I'd say it's more of a curiosity of how this is all gonna go especially since (again much like Chris) he always escapes any form of consequence. UNLIKE Chris Chan or the other big market lolcows in this site though, I am fairly confident we won't be seeing any seriously disgusting and/or criminal stuff from DSP. I personally can't see myself actively following horrorcows for a long time.

In a way, DSP is like a long running soap opera of lolcows. It's trashy, boring, and the writers often reuse plotlines or get stuck in arcs for too long, but there are rare moments of brilliance and it's the penultimate safe choice of lolcow to follow.

But yeah, just like many people have said here I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for his plights because he is at fault for every single one of them. Additionally, one argument I haven't seen people make yet is that just like with every other turbololcow that has a rabid a-logbase, he gets away with way too much shit. Rekieta is a good example of a turbololcow with an insanely rabid troll base, I don't follow him much but honestly the hate Rekieta gets thrown his way is 100% deserved. He got a slap on the wrist for all the fucked up shit he's done just because he's a trust fund turd, anyone who didn't come from his background would've been rotting in prison Enjoying Prison™ serving a decades long sentence right now.

Another major aspect that is so enraging about Phail is that his entire life he has been given literally infinite second chances, at least one every year, and he quite literally ends up squandering every single one of them. There are so many people I know who fucked up once and it wasn't even due to some big mistake they've made and they are still eating shit because of it. Sometimes they don't even get a second chance at all for the rest of their lives. Then you've got piggy who is a geniunely awful person who has always been a dumb, narcissistic piece of shit who couldn't stop treating everyone he's ever met like garbage and who always thought he should be worshipped like a god, he's the one who gets another bite at the cherry again. And again. And again. And he fucks every single one of them up. And he still fucking whines about how nobody wants to give him a fair shake and how he's being treated unfairly by everyone around him.
 
DSP is one of those guys that could have been huge on YouTube $$$ if he had rubbed the few brain cells he possesses into upping production and not being a little abrasive autist. He was still filming his TV with a camcorder long after every other creator had jumped to PC capture cards or DVR boxes. Even a used DV camcorder with composite in and firewire would have done the job.
 
There is nearly an entire generation of men who have done nothing with their lives but sit at home playing video games with absolutely 0 future prospects, and Phil has managed to monetize himself in that situation. Everything negative that has happened to him is largely self-inflicted; He has turned down more offers for stability and financial benefit than most of us get in our entire lives while constantly refusing to improve unless he, the great King Phil, decides it's an opportune moment to do so.
Sure, maybe I'd feel bad if I didn't know he spent nearly every penny that didn't go to Snack Pizzas and gin on WWE Champions or shiny RGB toys to dazzle his Norwegian-room-temperature-IQ fanbase, but at the end of the day Phil is a greedy, narcissistic beggar who thinks everyone is beneath him(Including you, yes YOU), and that your money deserves to be his because...Well, it just does, mmkay? *snort*

Here's the question I ask about all these chances: the nigger polack was on fucking Asmondgolds stream fucking Asmondgold and what squandered that shot in a month and change? How much bigger can you get than that? Charlie? Tim Pool? PKA? I can't really think of anyone else, I guess what I'm getting as is if you're given a shot on a stream with someone that big and fuck it up then there's no hope for you.
