I hate that you're making me say this but to be fair to DSP most normal people wouldn't understand what the fuck is going on in Yugioh. It's one of the most obtuse and pointlessly complicated TCGs in comparison to like almost any other.
Since Phail is mentally 12 I can imagine him just putting a lot of BIG and STRONG monsters like I did when I played the Tag Force games as a kid and then crashing out when the opponent DARES to play Hammer Shot or flip their Sakuretsu Armor on me.
Yeah, that's why I specifically named an older YuGiOh game. The GX and 5D's era Tag Force games are still from an era where there were actual back and forths and interactivity between players compared to modern YuGiOh where it's devolved to winning on turn 1 because you made an unbreakable board or losing on turn 2 because your opponent broke your board.
Even the first one would be too obtuse for the gin-soaked polack.
