If James is truly a film connoisseur, shouldn't he know his local independent theaters? Like the one that's been around since the 50s and looks like it hasn't been cleaned since; but shows classic cinema and you don't get bled on the popcorn? I mean Philly is probably brimming with these
Ok. It's mostly just the usual bitching over nonsense. But the ones I really agree with are the 'convenience fees' They automated everything and charge you to buy your own ticket. I don't remember exactly when it started but I noticed it for sure when they charged you $2+ to buy the ticket online in advanced. Crazy. It's on the level of Las Vegas resort fee scams.
I also hate those Coke freestyle machines. They always do taste like shit and the interface is terrible.

And that is - why the fuck were most of these people who were involved in that scene fat? And if they're not fat, they're bordering goblin-looking territory. It stands to reason the recent videos distract me more from focusing on James, but focusing on the fat lards he hangs around with and who is writing his shit. That's all I'm reminded of.

No social life, having a nerds v jocks mentality so thinking only dumb people did physical activity (and thinking playing video/board games made you smart), thinking they needed no improvement in life, the list goes on.
Also, I find it greatly amusing how Ian can barely hide his contempt for Pat when they're doing the podcast. At all times he is absolutely itching to get up out of that chair and go somewhere else.
I think the reason why the podcast 'ended' (more like they do once a month shows now and not the 3 - 4 episode a month grind) is partly because Ian got about sick of doing the show, at least at that rate. I'd imagine Pat would have to find ways to get Ian to bother even doing once a month now.
Once Ian quit his job, there goes about any interest that there was about with that podcast. I wanted to hear more about used video game store experiences or anything that isn't talked about that involves video games, than listening to some pseudo-intellectual hoarder run on about the same talking points.
And I'm sure once Pat leeches more on the Amico, he'll probably tire out Ian again to the point of permanently not giving a fuck. Something between these two, will eventually erupt and I think that'll be a reason for Pat to blossom into having a thread of his own. Because I'm sure Pat is just working Ian up to the boiling point.

its not a bad list but i dont have the same nostalgia for a lot of the 80's movies he does and i haven't seen a lot of the movies he listed made before 1970
Pretty normie list. I mean all the films are good, but anybody could tell you that. It seems like those were the films he was taught in school and he's just regurgitating it.
