Finally hopped back into Nightreign after not playing it since it came out, and... well, I admit that it's a little difficult for me right now. The game itself runs fine, it's jus the control scheme is a bit weird. I am honestly looking forwards to more content getting released for the game; hoping for an Ornstein skin for Guardian, personally. Maybe also a Dragon Covenant character to play.

Also grabbed copies of both Dark Souls 1 and 3 again; going to try them both out, get a build made that I like. Maybe finally try and go for Knight's Honor on DS1; also get a few things done on DS3 as well.

This is a massive shot in the Dark but does anyone have the deleted Dark Souls 2 videos from the YouTuber Albino/Albino Llama? He rebranded and deleted his old videos some time around 2016 but I remember really enjoying them. There were two in particular I remember called "Moni" and "Kewl Movie Montage" that I'd love to see again.

Ds3 has probably some of the best bosses in the series, but also the worst map and world.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think dark souls 2 is a better game overall, but it is better on a good list of aspects.

The DLC was more of the same. Nightreign was an uninspired spinoff. It's a tremendous shame because the art direction is unparallelled... so now we end up with some of the most beautiful scenes in entertainment media stuck in kusoge that I'll never replay.

Does anyone else think Nightreign is just meh? I don't understand how it's fun when you're just rushed through the game every time you play it (and that's not even getting into playing online with inevitable sweats)
I don't get the appeal. On paper, it looks like a game I'd enjoy, but the boss rush mechanic just really puts me off.

Oh and Playstation won't let me refund it because Japanese companies are cancer.

I enjoy all the things they make, even the really bad ones like Shadow Tower 1 (Abyss is much better), I've played EVERY game they have ever made, installing mods to make the jap only ones english and everything.

I have no delusions about all their quality, its simply that I enjoy the shit they are serving even when they fuck up, King's Field 4 is an amazing game but you also control like a drunk man with rickets.
