I need you slacktivists to understand you cannot solve this by mass reporting the guy. Best case nothing happens, worst case the platforms DFE before police gets a chance to demand the data being handed over. It does good for Facebook groups, as it keeps them from growing, but reporting this guy's PayPal does nothing.

And stop with the histrionics about "two kittens are being tortured and Reddit dares delete the post?!". Who the fuck cares, it's a Reddit post, it's not gonna solve anything. Dox the perp and call 911. Literally ANYTHING else is the same as not doing anything, and just because something is objectively evil, doesn't mean it has to be featured everywhere.

I have messaged animal shelters and adoption agencies around Germany with the pictures and his online name. I have encouraged people to report it to the police, including a friend that lives in Germany. I don't know what else I can do.

He has tortured cats before so "nothing happens" is unfortunately not likely.

So where does Jack Latiao live now? I heard he's hiding in Georgia, USA (unbelievable). Someone on YT said he lives in their friend's neighbourhood and his house gets egged a lot. Has he been doxxed? He needs a visit from ICE ASAP.

Yeah, I found your account through the link posted here. Keep up the good work, Hopefully this filthy sicko can be added there soon. I still don't know what's happened to the kittens or if the police arrested the guy yet. I keep checking the feline guardians page for updates and there aren't any so far.
 
The internet used to chimp out over cat abuse. Reddit and everyone else doxed and went after teen Kenny/Chris Glenn of Lawton l, Oklahoma for abusing a cat named Dusty. Calls poured in from all over the world until police rescued the cat and Kenny faced justice.

Now this shit just gets deleted by reddit because muh propriety.

I've tried posting on r/cats and other places to get this story to gain traction. You'd think redditors for be good for a righteous mob if nothing else, but even they dont seem to give a shit.

It's so sad. Like you said everyone went after Kenny Glenn when he abused Dusty but these days, it feels like people on here are the only ones who care. It's really sad.
 
Honestly, I'm in utter despair over this because there's basically nothing we can do to end this. As long as Chinese society at large thinks it's acceptable to treat animals like that and the Chinese government doesn't implement any kind of animal welfare legislation, this will never end. So what can we even do? I'm not tech savvy enough to infiltrate these horrible groups and don't speak Chinese either. I'd happily donate money, even monthly, but to which organisation, and would it even change anything? That sounds fucking defeatist and I'm aware it is, but what can I realistically do to help those poor, poor cats? The things I want to do to those disgusting excuses for human beings are sadly not realistic... 😿

No black pilling please. The reality is horrible enough already, we don't need to imagine it worse.

China cares about saving face. If the blender cat video was the first thing people though of when they thought about china, this would end quickly. The absolute most important thing you can fucking do is make noise. Write your rep, go to a protest, organize a protest, do you have money? Print out some flyers and put them on car windshields in a whole foods or something. Contact petsmart executives and ask them if they know they're buying cat toys from a place that allows this, contact your local news, put up a flyer at your church, community center, coffee shop etc. Talk to people in person. Tell your sister, your female relatives, to stop buying clothes from shein and temu.

If you have money, but don't want to bother putting up flyers yourself, you can always donate flyers to an activist who is will but might be broke.

China is somehow completely helpless to stop something Japan and Indonesia stomped out 50 years ago. HELPLESS. Seems like an attempt at preserving izzat to me.

Either China is a joke for not being able to stop the most egregious abuse imaginable or they're deliberately evil. No excuse either way

You gotta raise awareness, and find ties to people and business connected to these animal abusers (it's just the cats that are suffering in Asia. Dogs have it bad too). If Temu has actual ties to these people, you gotta spread the word. Don't waste your time posting on commie-shit hole like Reddit. This is not going to be easy, and will take time.

It's not just a China issue. Asia treats animal rights like a joke almost everywhere that isn't Japan, and I think Japan still has animal problems. Dogs have it just as bad in Asia because in some shit holes, people get a kick out of torturing dogs before they violently kill them for food or whatever. Asia has always been a shit hole when it comes to human and animal rights, but this gets covered up by the media and social media. I remember hearing about some Genshit drama that made some Chinese kill cats over a character, but I could be wrong.
