I read the CNN article yesterday and haven't been the same since. I wish only the worst to those perpetrators, may they suffer even a fraction of the pain they're causing those poor creatures.
One question though: is there really no Chinese organisation in China trying to stop this? As much as I salute the Western activists, what it needs is people actually living there to stop it. I get not caring about animals especially, but seeing them horribly tortured, surely not every Chinese can be okay with that either?
Besides, their culture is all about saving face. If this story spreads, the CCP can't want filthy foreigners to think of them as violent, sadistic savages, you'd think?!

However, the german ones suck. I assume it will be similar with other languages.
One has neither link nor qr-code and they are riddled with spelling mistakes.

Also, I don't like how they lack censoring. Normies won't subscribe to an instagram where the pics are barely censored, the pixels often don't hide much and they are the first pic you see, they don't even hide them behind a first slide. Way too detailed descriptions, too. They need to work on that. Leave people a choice of how much they want to know.
As for targets: cultural houses would be a good target. They aren't embassies, so likely not subjected to any distance restrictions. There is one pro-Ukrainian protestor doing this in front of the russian house in Berlin:

I figured out what exactly bothers me about their web-presence: way too much focus on the detailing the torture part, in the flyers as well as the insta-account. Especially if you want to distribute it IRL, a flyer with pic of cute cat + it was kidnapped + listing the horrific ways the cat was tortured is not a good idea. People outside didn't consent to know this stuff and there are kids who could get their hands on it, too.
Expanding on the insta-account: If you're a cat lover on instagram, you'll follow cat accounts, whether it'll be memes, funny cats or rescues. So you sub to feline guardians and now in between all those cute and funny cat posts you'll get blurred pics of tortured cats, too, that'll put anyone off.
I think feline guardians are either run by autists who have no clue how they come across to people outside their own bubble or people who enjoy distressing other people.
For me a flyer for normies would be something like this:
- Stop the cat-torturers of China
- China has the most censored internet and can follow the whereabouts of any of its citizens 24/7, but they can't - or won't - stop people killing cats and filming it for profit.
- Those videos are also sold to western buyers/zoosadists who can request custom videos.
- Frequently the cats are pets who have been stolen.

They've made a lot of the posters you describe actually. They have a lot of softer ones that arent graphic.
You have a point though about cat lovers being disincentivized to follow it. I follow them on my insta but leave it muted because it's too much to have pop up when im not expecting it.

All right, I've been doing some digging and have been able to track down Wang Chaoyi's address. From the Feline Guardians page:
It keeps going on like this. He was detained for two weeks then released. Protesters followed him home. I was able to use footage of the protest to confirm his place of residence.
Someone first posted his address on Twitter, then I cross-referenced it with Baidu maps and the footage. I will post what I have.

I can't express how difficult it's been trying to get in touch with the right people. The FG subreddit is infuriating, the guy on Twitter who originally posted the address will not answer my questions and doesn't have DMs, FG understandably wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole. It's not as if I was looking to recruit a private army to do the work for me. I've done the work. I only need confirmation that this information is still good. Only 4chan steered me in the right direction. Bless the mod on here who approved my posts in a hurry.

Additionally, the building appears to have only around 20 floors. You can see a brick base in the image, so either the floor numbers start there, or the 23A is yet another "Tiehu gardens" debacle and we're back to trying to find this guy in the haystack of a complex of this size. I'm thinking we are, since what are the chances he just happens to live on the top floor of the building? Still, not impossible.
There's only one entrance to the parking lot, and it's connected to a narrow back street. Notice the cameras. Coupled with the heightened security presence around the bank back up the street, I think it would be difficult to try and access the building without arousing suspicion. A foreigner committed to doing what is right could still bungle this easily. You can make a few passes by the parking lot to see if his vehicle is there, but a building of this size isn't going to just let you waltz right on through the main entrance. You'll stick out like a sore thumb.
I wish I had more information on him and the others. The breakthrough was the Twitter post that, with a bit of sleuthing on Baidu, helped me find him. Thankfully, Chaoyi's not some backwoods recluse. He has a family, and after the initial flurry of protests, I imagine he's settled back into his life and has stopped looking over his shoulder. I almost wish the bank did not fire him.
Evil acts with impunity while the rest of us are told to sign petitions and raise awareness. I remember someone on the FG subreddit posted about taking matters into their own hands, but the thread was quickly purged. I respect what FG is doing, but someone needs to find these motherfuckers and send them back to hell, in Minecraft.

@monprayer I saw your pol thread homie and was about to post the dox here. I share the same frustrations you have. Sometimes it feels like they're getting away with it. I've also been banned and outright stalked for trying to talk about the cats. Not to mention every site is locked down now and its hard to contact anyone.

He killed himself right by jumping off with a roped tied around his neck while everyone watched. (Wikipedia) Semih Çelik is idolized by same type of people as C31K members.

The complex is listed as "内部楼栋" which is typically used for residential complexes. And it looks like one, especially judging by the storefronts right outside. He probably films his videos in the underground lot that services his building. Safe to say, this is his address.
I'd also like to add I got in touch with a Chinese speaker who was able to confirm the registry address of Cao Shan's studio:
I was also able to contact FG who confirmed that, as far as they know, Wang is still in Nanning.

I was right to bring attention to it: a photo of Wang I hadn't seen before confirms he drives the Lincoln MKZ (?) highlighted earlier. The Camry could be his wife's car.
In addition, his address information is sourced from the Ministry of Public Security's population database. His wife's address corroborates his (23A in both):
