Eric Daugherty reporting on a FOX segment, HUD had payment errors of over 11%. over 5 billion dollars to inactive accounts. the fraud is at the level of systemic rot. if we had not caught it now it may have been too late at any future point. can you imagine any of this fraud being found if Kamala Harris was president? tim walz would've had so much power to hide what his state was doing, and washington wouldn't be shitting their pants with the same problem looming on the horizon for them.
What I'm curious to know is how much of this, if any, has been clawed back in any way. As sad as it is to say corruption on this scale exists, it's a bigger sign when nobody makes any efforts to take back what was wrongfully given out in terms of government payments. The scarier part is how fraud of this scale happens because those in power want it to and have enough sway to keep it under wraps as much as they do.

Politicians literally do nothing all day. Their staff read the letters and compile lists of shit they should vaguely care about. The letter will be most likely opened and at least skimmed over. It won't change the opinion of the person reading it, but it'll increment a number in some spreadsheet.
This is nothing new. In college, when the internet was just taking off in popularity, my professor for a class on the social impact of computers asked us to visit whitehouse.gov. Those of us who sent an email through the site got an auto-response which served as the basis of one of our first in-class discussions on whether such impersonal communication has any sort of value.

Today, I'm pretty sure very few politicians give incoming correspondence any sort of serious perusal or acknowledgment. Still, they are quick to point out in campaign literature that they handled x number of engagements with constituents in an attempt to make it look like they listen to their electorate.

If trump actually puts action behind the immigration moratorium statement he made, then I'll start to get my hopes up a little. Because otherwise even though we've stopped illegal immigration, and we will hopefully start having more deportations, legal immigration from brown countries are still going to keep happening.
We also need to ensure that people from countries involved in the moratorium don't try to immigrate from other countries where it's still allowed - just like how people from all around the globe were coming to Central America to enter illegally through Mexico before Trump metaphorically welded the border spigot shut.

This stupid bitch is gonna send all of her followers to prison for tax fraud
I'm apparently out of the loop because I don't follow politics on Xitter, but does this "Tax Revolt" involve not filing or not paying taxes this year? Any reputable tax professional would be quick to point out what a terrible idea this is for multiple reasons.

before doing this i didn't realize that this place was IN minneapolis. they're trying to say it's normal for a MAJOR CITY'S central daycares to be fucking empty in the middle of the day during a holiday break from school.
I think it might be a form of plausible deniability. With normal schools on recess over the holiday break, kids are with their parents at home, on vacation, etc, it makes it easier to deny allegations of fraud by claiming the kids that are day care clients are away for the holiday break. It's plausible enough to make sense and make anyone not wanting to dig deeper be satisfied with the response.

USPG wish me luck. I am sitting in my ambulance mere hours from the new year.
Semper Fi for doing Godbear's work on the holiday, fren.

Somalis didn't mastermind this shit. I spent some time in Somalia and they're all thieves, but intellectually incapable of operating huge, multi-leveled fraud schemes under Western governmental infrastructure.
Even if it's restating the obvious, they had help from a combination of corrupt politicians and NGOs to accomplish this. This was not your common garden-variety fraud taking place by any stretch.

San Francisco just jumped off a cliff.

The new mayor just signed the Reparations Bill. Yes San Francisco has agreed to pay reparations to it's black citizens. Black's in San Francisco can qualify for up to $5 MILLION dollars each, depending on heritage.
It will be difficult to disprove anyone claiming San Fran is as morally bankrupt as it is financially now.

Anyways the attack is pretty much what i was expecting, the military has been completely buckbroken and the police refuses to cooperate, colectivos have instead took the mantel of the military and theres barely any internet in My sector, dare i Say something did happen, Señor Trump delivered and My dooming is healed.
Ecstatic Even, i havent seen this ammount of joy in years, aparently they are tearing down shit in Caracas related to him and shouting "USA", the only people that is mad is terminally TDS faggot libshit cuckoldmunists that need to be shoved into a woodchipper legs first.
Late to the party, but I'm glad you were safe as this happened and I hope you and family/friends are okay in the aftermath.

But when Trump does something about it (with 0 American casualties no less) people start whining about the sacredness of state sovereignty over a dictator that oppressed his own people and used force to stop himself from being ousted through legal means.
There's a certain irony in those liberals who constantly whine on social media about fighting against oppression changing their tune when Trump does something such as this to help the oppressed citizens of Venezuela. The way social media is lit up today, an unsuspecting person may think trump is the worst war criminal in all of history the way people are screeching about Maduro's capture.

Remember backdoor judge Hanna Dugan? The judge who lied to ICE and let the illegal alien use her personal door to try to flee?

Remember that she was convicted before a jury of her peers 2 weeks ago? And while the presiding judge is taking his sweet ass time in sentencing her the state reps are not and moved for her impeachment?

Well the bitch is doing the old cut and run. Before the impeachment passed she officially resigned her appointment as a judge.
I bet she did it as an attempt to try to keep her pension and benefits. I've seen other public figures resign to keep from losing their pension if they'd otherwise lose them if they stuck around and got convicted of wrongdoing. It shows she only cares about herself and everyone else - including the illegal alien she abetted - are just pawns to her.

March in NYC yesterday protesting the Venezuela strike - notice how 80% of these people are just White liberals.
How many actual Venezuelans, or those with Venezuelan ancestry do you think are in this crowd?
As others have posted, and from the firsthand words of @Jose Beaner Luna, most people with Venezuelan ancestry are ecstatic over the news and cautiously optimistic for an improved situation in the future.

The only protestors I see rallying against this are the usual suspects that protest in support of anything leftist: teachers unions, DSA chapters, Soros-funded groups, etc.

Russian failure to establish air supremacy was not a fluke. The vulnerability of air assets even to middle powers is a fact the world's militaries will have to contend with going forward.
Israel proved that wrong with Iran and Pakistan proved that wrong with India.

There's a possibility that small drones can be disabled with a CPR that is considerably less than the cost of the drone itself. Countermeasures can be taken, but not without increased cost. In that case, the drones become less attritable, and the last 15 years of military technology doctrine across the entire planet (including America) just went out the window.
Israel has already demonstrated this capability and the US likely has something better:

The IDF on Monday made a rare disclosure, noting that its highly secret 5114th Battalion electromagnetic spectrum unit downed dozens of Iranian drones over the last week or so.

So secret is the unit that even in those rare cases where the IDF has admitted its existence and discussed its activities, it has usually refrained from giving the kind of specifics in terms of adversaries and dates of use that it gave on Monday.

Lt.-Col. “B” on Monday said that the downing of dozens of Iranian drones was a critical, additional layer of defense for Israel against aerial threats.

Saudi Arabia/Iran
Saudi Arabia just aligned with Qatar/Iran, remains to see if this lasts

What till folks realize Trump just coup'd Maduro for his commie VP in exchange for re-opening Exxon's oil lease. She traded him to get the fat bastard out of her way. The Art of The Deal.
Global south-ists are coping by saying that she and her brother (likely linked to Dominion and the 2020 election) are hard-liner Chavezistas, and that Maduro was the clown.

We'll see how it goes though. It's clear though that someone in Maduro's circle wanted him out.

bro i unironically love marco rubio now.
if you told me i would feel this way 10 years ago i'd fucking shoot you or myself or smth idk,
for real lol, my only memory of Rubio before this administration is him getting absolutely BTFO by fucking Chris Christie of all people, I think during the 2016 primaries?. You'd think it would be impossible to recover from something like that, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Marco Rubio's redemption arc needs to be studied almost as hard as Ted Cruz's fall from grace.

Rubio had some bottom-tier neo-con handlers in his run. His positions were always more right than center. Trump+Rubio+Hegseth will be
the Triumvirate of the Second American Empire.
