Probably ultimately sets a bad precedent that the US is willing to just regime change your ass
I'm treading in dangerous waters here and especially as a Christian i'm forbidden from using fear as a weapon.
But how bad is this precedent exactly?
My entire life I have been
told that being feared is bad. But for 15 years I have
watched several factions get away with EVERYTHING because they're feared.
Do you ever hear about the Irish, or mormons, or amish, or the south koreans just getting away with all sorts of absurd shit that they shouldn't get away with while people dance around the issue and postpone retaliation? No. It almost seems like they don't even exist.
Because they don't chimp out and nobody pays attention to them.
Islam successfully prevents western shows from depicting Mohammad, they get away with throwing gay people off buildings, they flood the west with these people and Christian hating liberals won't dare mention them by name.
China has pushed and pushed and pushed past red lines that if any other country did so they would have been sanctioned into the shitter 20 years ago. Why? Because when you upset them they throw their weight around.
Russia literally invaded a neighboring country and the "international community" is still telling us to find a peaceful solution.
If you've ever worked in customer service, or a job of any kind because this applies to employees as well, you know that
the people who make themselves a problem get preference over those who don't. It's gay as hell, I hate that it works this way, but it does.
We just demonstrated that we are capable, and we are
willing to do shit to people who fuck with us. There won't be headlines about all of the things that setting this new precedent PREVENTED, but that element is still there.
