Fuck you for making me find the correct font and translate that manually. Did you know there are multiple versions of Wingdings, and they usually get messed up because modern devices replace them with emojis that don’t always line up with what they originally were? I didn’t.

I actually saw there were different versions of Wingdings while making that post. I thought about just using one of those copy-pastable emoji variants but decided on the text box because 1.) it's more accurate and 2.) it's funnier to me if you have to go through all that effort for such a shitty punchline

The people of gender have become so horseshoed back onto themselves that Kris and Susie is hetero-normative even though Kris "le non binary" in their opinion; and this twink is hyped for a gay kiss scene but also somehow surprised that the one of the gay males in his gay male fantasy identifies as a male.

Toby's fans need the goat to be a troon because they're too autistic to have a genuine sense of self and need constant external validation from the media they consume to tell themselves it's "real". (Isn't this a hallmark symptom of BPD, constantly needing external sources to reaffirm "who you are"? That explains a lot.) Someone actually confident in their identity doesn't need that. You don't need to convince a sane man with XY chromosomes they're a man or XX chromosomes they're a woman because they know. It's truly a sick mind that needs every single piece of consumed media "yes ugly friendless boy, you're secretly just a girl, that's the truth. That's why no one gets you." Also the fact that no male is allowed to be feminine (whether you think that's pussification of men or not) it's "oh you like pink and baking, YOU'RE ACTUALLY A GIRL" I really can't contextualize why it makes my skin crawl. i agree, but also i think it's more an issue of the so-called "media literacy" crowd thinking they know everything so there's no room for discussion on anything because it goes against what they believe. i don't even mean gender spergery specifically, just anything. even more bizarre is that the narrative they have to believe has to be a part of a narrative that everyone else believes. they want to be sheep but they also want to bite people that aren't sheep. they have such low self esteem that they can only feel correct if they're surrounded by people that agree with them. it's that echo chamber mentality. this is the generation that grew up with all their online discussion taking place on twitter, where the worst thing that can happen is that five hundred people replied to your tweet and three people hit like on it. you got ratioed bro. better delete your account, which is your identity. i think that's really what the "kris is a (headcanon)!" shit comes down to, it's just an extension of insecurity masked with the guise of intellectualism because you watched tens of hours of youtubers theorizing about it. it's important to them because they can't imagine anything more important than being correct, and trying to fit in is the only way to make sure you're always right.
