This would be the single worst case scenario for Chapter 5.

I really should get a Snowgrave and genocide route save ready but I just can't bring myself to do it. I love all the little guys we can recruit too much. Except the whole "Brutalizing Noelle" thing. I can do that in a heartbeat. I can do that for free. If I could have a Save where I recruited everyone from Ch2 and also simultaneously Snowgrave I'd do that.

My three saves are pacifist, weird route while fighting everything, and aborted weird route while fighting as little as possible. I figure that for the last one, most people would still fight everything, so I’m mixing things up. I haven’t started Chapter 4 on that save yet, so I don’t know if the recruits from earlier chapters are enough to turn Castle Town into the Castle Funk variant.

Also, what’s the over/under on even getting the Twisted Sword in Chapter 5? I think Seam will take the Shadow Crystals and tell us “I can make a Pure Crystal with these, but it’ll take some time so come back tomorrow”.

I hope Asgore gets to do something in Chapter 5. Whether he's an antagonist, party member, or just has story significance. If he's just asleep the whole time and the plot of Chapter 5 is just fighting a quirky, random minor antagonist again like Chapters 2 & 3, I might just stop caring.

The hispanic UT/DT has had several schisms ever since the game came out relating to how Toby is autistic at not giving his humans set genders and has led to several botched translations with shit like "Lenguaje Inclusive", which at the time (2016) was being pushed by several feminist groups in hispanic countries but due to the way vocals play a major role in how phonetics and morphology of words work so it instictively sounds wrong for a native spanish speaker
This ended with some translations releasing two (male frisk, female frisk) or even 3 (neutral gender frisk, lots of rewriting and works arounds) OR EVEN 4 (Non-binary frisk) installers for their mods and has been messy ever since.
This is why Toby its a fucking coward since he has to take a stance in certain languages but can't because then his "Lol Kris was actually THE GIRL this whole time, it was all a part of my plan all along you chuds" can't happen or because he knows he will be crucified if his woke fans see him selling out giving Kris a set gender so that the game can ship in other languages.

i trust toby when he says "i don't know spanish so i can't have any involvement in a spanish translation because i can't make sure it's up to my standards" because he is the kind of language autist i can respect. i know this because i read legends of localization: book 3, which was about undertale's translation. not having a translation in a particular language because it is not gender-neutral and you can't do the ambiguous gender thing, is a stupid idea and anyone who believes that is stupid. it's as stupid as speculating that kris is "the girl" and his gender is being kept a secret for the purpose of not giving it away.
 
I feel like Kris being a haccin valid they/them has more to do with Toby's autism than it does with any actual representation points considering
1) Toby came up with the story of Deltarune in 2012, no one (especially people like Fox) gave a fuck about enbies in 2012
2) Literally every human character, both direct and indirectly shown, are referred to with neutral pronouns. All of them.

So either every single human in both UT and DR just happen to all be Nonbinary, Humans in UT and DR don't even have two genders, or Toby is autistic and it's just a quirk of his writing.
 
Imo translating the games to spanish would be easier than Japanese, Toby is just a weeabo. Either way, no one outside of a game's country of origin is entitled to translations and thus should stop being massive crybabies over this shit already. Learn english or fuck off.

I remember back in the day the fans, while still annoying parasocial fucking faggots, at least allowed people the chance to headcanon whatever gender you want on Frisk and Chara. Now these niggas hold the fandom hostage with this idea that since the narrative makes it clear WE are forcing him to do shit he doesn't want, that means he's a heckin blorbo with actual agency that we have to treat like it's real!
I didn't agree to larp with you retards, and either way nowhere in the games does said robbed agency imply Kris gives a shit what gendered word is used on him btw. It's just the language every other character uses. And every other character already thinks Kris is a fucking weirdo. The only thing we see is hints that he is uncomfortable being a human and wants to be a monster or a dog.
