I honestly don't know what to say to this other than: Christ.
Worry about policy after the election - when we're no longer a dictatorship! Words just have no meaning to some people. Thanks for the inspiring words Kristine.

They would say the exact same thing if he cured cancer.
I have two friends that are more or less part of the insane left. They've always wanted to flee to Europe to get away from the tyranny of America, going back to the George W. Bush era. Of course they've never actually gone and done it. But now that they can't it's just a whole other level of a problem for them and how could Donald Trump do this to them?
Think of all the doctors and gravediggers he’d leave unemployed! They would say the exact same thing if he cured cancer.
Exactly. Its just pathology at this point. Also, I want to play Alpha Centauri every damn time I see your avatar.Think of all the doctors and gravediggers he’d leave unemployed!
Hitler turned a country ravaged by war and debt into a country powerful enough to hold its own weight against multiple world superpowers. Are they implying its a good thing?

Reminder that these are the same people who shit on healthcare for being so fucking expensive and keep exclaiming their love for countries like Sweden and Canada, but the moment medicine prices are halved in America, that's a bad thing because... Trump did it????
At least he's not Trump.Ver archivo adjunto 1474920
Unless there's something I'm not understanding, wouldn't invoking the 25th Amendment make Pence, the one and only person who's objectively worse than DRumpf, president?
Not sure I understand. Pharma are those big corporations they want to destroy. 2 birds and all that.
Except when Trump is "attacking" them, then the pharmas are great. Not sure I understand. Pharma are those big corporations they want to destroy. 2 birds and all that.
You could argue that reducing the revenues of pharmaceutical companies could affect their ability to research and produce covid-19 medications. But these companies were already making such a large profit from their high prices that they can probably survive any reductions that would come from this executive order. Not sure I understand. Just curious, but when profits for these companies are calculated is it just the manufacturing costs of the drug subtracted from price, or do they include failed drug development as well as the years of research and FDA approval? You could argue that reducing the revenues of pharmaceutical companies could affect their ability to research and produce covid-19 medications. Very unlikely to include the failures and R&D + FDA approvals, but presumably portions of the profits are intended to cover those losses.Just curious, but when profits for these companies are calculated is it just the manufacturing costs of the drug subtracted from price, or do they include failed drug development as well as the years of research and FDA approval?

That's exactly true. Like Hollywood studios, a company's successful drug is intended to cover for a lot of unsuccessful ones.Very unlikely to include the failures and R&D + FDA approvals, but presumably portions of the profits are intended to cover those losses.
Oh, and someone has to pay for European freeloading.
