What is a good sex life according to you?

Yes, tell me why using condoms is dumb. If we have standards in society then people will go out of their way to not have kids out of wedlock.
Because married couples do not want to use barrier methods. It’s less pleasurable for both and completely pointless when you’re not actively trying to prevent sexually transmitted disease. It’s also overall more expensive than using many hormonal methods if you’re monogamous and have sex every day to every other day. If you’re concerned about the environment it creates more waste, waste that takes a long ass time to break down in a landfill or the ocean. And no. There have been societies where the standards for premarital sex have been extremely high, but people still got knocked up. To think otherwise is living in a complete fantasy.

My point is unnecessary risk is stupid and taking a harmful drug the poisons the water supply is stupid. Sex with someone you love is good even if you aren't going to marry the person.

Given that you can't get someone pregnant in the mouth I don't think I would worry about it.
You’re unmarried and view premarital sex as wrong, but still think oral sex is ok. I’m convinced you’re trolling because nobody is this stupid. If you’re serious then you’re part of the problem for the people who actually hold those values. You can’t in one breath say that premarital sex is wrong, but then say that it’s ok as long as you love the person. Either it is or it isn’t, pick a position and stand by it. It doesnt become magically ok because you want to get your dick wet. Also less than 1% of estrogen pollution in the water comes from hormonal birth control, if that. All women (and men) piss out hormones, whether they’re on the pill or not. You do too. Most estrogen pollution comes from the ag industry, so go picket that instead of piggybacking off of a shitpost.

1) Those are medically necessary in rare circumstances. Even then I bet 99% of the women who take birth control just want to be sluts.
2) I like to have conversations just the hear the response.
Most women/girls I know on hormonal BC are at least partially on it for medical shit. That's pretty much the entire reason I have an IUD as a mostly asexual dyke.

Many such cases of people who have no contact with women outside their immediate family. SAD!

Ummmm... does this dude realize that married people, monogamous, faithful married women use birth control too? Including ones that waited until marriage?

Is he one of those tradcaths that only believes in natural family planning or something?

Also, like a lot of people said, endometriosis and other gynecological disorders are not necessarily rare, as I pointed out earlier, they are often underdiagnosed because doctors don't take them as seriously.

I don’t think so considering he flip flopped his position from ‘anyone who has premarital sex is a slut’ to ‘it’s ok if you’re in love’. @Android raptor and I consistently argue and shit on each other, but she’s absolutely right, dude just hasn’t ever been around women.

Ah, well, I knew he hasn't been around women, that was a given.

Yeah because once you start interacting with/befriending women, you realize just how many are on some form of bc and how many are because of some kind of health related shit. My female friends are who told me about IUDs and ultimately made me decide to get one, and I'm extremely grateful for it. Especially since hopefully it'll reduce my chance of fibroid horrors like my sister got (she was on BC but just the pill&I know had her prescriptions switched around a bit).

This is one of the reasons comprehensive sex ed is so important, because so many people don't realize birth control has uses beyond pregnancy prevention, as well as just how prone lady bits are to malfunctioning (endo, fibroids, PMDD, PCOS, etc etc)

Ah, I forgot to mention, the Catholic Church doesn’t consider it sinful to use hormonal birth control to combat female issues such as endometriosis and severe periods. Here’s an excerpt from Humanae Vitae:

‘The Church does not consider illicit the use of those therapeutic means necessary to cure bodily diseases, even if a foreseeable impediment to procreation should result there from—provided such impediment is not directly intended for any motive whatsoever.’

In other words, if you use the pill for medical reasons it’s morally justified even if it prevents conception and reproductive functions, as do a plethora of other drugs that can be potentially lifesaving. This is provided you’re using them solely for therapeutic effect. It’s the same with stuff like ectopic pregnancy, abortion in the church is immoral, but a necessity in order to save a mother if she will die from carrying a child that will kill her by further development. The anti birth control issues are ones that deeply divide the church, it’s not as simple as ‘the pill bad’.

Many of the ‘tradcaths’ are zoomers who are either new converts or just randomly identify as Catholics without having a solid grasp of actual Catholic moral theology. Mostly just a bunch of self righteous LARPers.

I thought the "women who have sex = sluts" autism was what the Abortion Containment thread was for.

In general I don’t recommend taking pills unless you 100% need them, not for convinence. It’s why I don’t take painkiller or literally any drugs at all. However, I’m not gonna villa I ze someone for taking birth control, I just recognize that shit has some consequences if used inappropriately.

I never had luck with BCPs, even the Mirena gave me problems. I passed out right after I had it inserted, I weird chronic BV infections, my acne went berserk, and my ex complained that it stabbed his dick from time to time.
All birth control pills I've ever tried, any hormonal replacement ointment, and even spironolactone (for acne) gave me breakthrough bleeding, weight gain, abdominal bloating.
The only thing that has ever improved menstrual pain was exercise... I had horrific cramps and heavy bleeding for over a week until I started working out regularly in my early 20s. Granted, getting older might have been the main factor, but I read frequently that consistent exercise often helps alleviate menstrual pain.
I'm not sure what the ideal birth control is, but it's obvious that medical science doesn't give a shit. They'd rather spend time helping men troon out than they would actually improving women's healthcare.

He's not a tradcath. He's just a retarded incel.

Anyway since Roe went down and some states are banning contraception we might have to do some interesting things. Wild carrot is an okay contraceptive. Cotton root bark is an abortifacient.

If you have to self-induce an abortion and you live in a red state do NOT tell them why you're going to the emergency department. It's just something that randomly happened, right, like a random miscarriage. Happens all the time.
