Maybe Ellen is doing a her? Dunno which came first. That thing where she's about to finish a sentence then makes the last few words something unexpected. We should go on a mission to find funny females.

That's more like Kevin Nealon. Saying a line, and then adding the real one under their breath. He always did that. Ellen used to try to pass off awkward delivery which is way different.

I tried to listen to Shane Gillis on Theo Von’s show and it was DOGSHIT. The dude cannot converse. At one point Theo actually says, “I’m tryin’ to think what we could talk about.” Shane’s cousin isn’t the only one with Down Syndrome. (FWIW everyone in Austin says he’s a nice guy, even people who never have anything good to say about anyone.)
Theo Von was way more useful when he was on Road Rules and the Road Rules vs. Real World challenge.
I've never actually seen a Nealon stand up special. Will investigate.

The difference between Nealon and her is that he was faster on his delivery. He used to do it on SNL bits sometimes.

Comedian Bert Kreischer's Tour Bus Burns to the Ground
Bert Kreischer
My Bus Just Went Up in Flames!!!

By TMZ Staff
Published March 15, 2026 2:01 PM PDT

Bert Kreischer had a super close call Sunday. His tour bus burned to the ground!

Bert shared a picture of the charred vehicle, writing, "We are all safe but my bus is gone -- God works in mysterious ways."

Look at the pic ... the bus is completely incinerated while sitting on the side of the road in what seems to be the middle of nowhere.

But being the professional he is ... tickets are still on sale for Bert's show tonight at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

"Beware the Ides of March" all right!

Are we going to get endless versions of this story for the next twenty years, increasingly disconnected from reality, just like his "I was in the Russian mob" fable?

Hard disagree. I see so many people say this, but she's never once made me laugh. Her comedy seems to be just her telling gross stories about her life.

I think the only reason she has fans is because people think she's a 6.5 and attainable to them.
This has been a thing within comedy starting with Janeane Garofalo. Like Janeane, people snap out of it and realize just how insufferable and unfunny she is. Sarah Silverman was another example of this. It’s a pretty solid formula to succeed as a “comedienne:” be slightly attractive, come up with gross stories, swear like a sailor, and watch the money roll in.

I know it's a normie take as hell, but I thought Jim Gaffigan during his Beyond the Pale era was funny.

Outside of that, Norm, Dennis Miller, Richard Jeni, Bobcat Goldthwait were always favourites. Jay Leno in the 1980s was hilarious. People mostly think of him during his Tonight Show run, but that man was a relentless tourer before that and was a machine. David Letterman loved having him do sets on his NBC show....not so much on his CBS show for some reason...

I'm sure there were others but they're lost to my memory.

I like Joe Rogan, I think he's a good man but I don't understand why he thinks he's funny. His specials are literally like committing suicide for 90 minutes. He's capable of being mildly funny on his podcast but on stage he is a trainwreck

The best thing he ever did was expose Carlos Mencia on stage for being a joke thief.

Her best work is in the movies. She was hilarious in Romy and Michele and Mystery Men.

His manatee joke and seahorse joke still makes me laugh.

I don't follow him, but I still end up getting posts from that insufferable faggot Steve Hofstetter in my newsfeed on Facebook. Everything I've learned about him has been against my will. But everything he says just reinforces his status as somebody whose jaw I'd love to break with a hammer.

His hecklers are even bigger faggots. Oh, and Kid Rock blows dick. I don't care what a comedian's beliefs are, hecklers will always be bigger faggots for ruining shows and yelling retarded shit.
