It's over, Kiwibros. The site changed a bit and change makes me feel afraid. I can't use this place anymore, not until I connect to it again, which will probably be in the next couple of hours.

They are sorted by date. If you search for Juju the Cow, you will find the newest posts first. If you search by title, you will see the newest threads first.

This is counter-intuitive because with posts you generally do what the newest first, with threads you do want the newest first, but with lolcows specifically you want the lolcow thread which is often 10 years old.

Is there a reason why we can’t search by oldest posts?

mostly a xenforo thing, unless refined search is enabled but that's a can of worms in itself.

I agree. I - and I'm sure many others - are really only interested in Fuentes and the people in his orbit, and having both a large thread in a sea of other large threads and a subforum dedicated to the topic seems clunky and unintuitive. Maybe the argument is that he's outgrown the Sektur and is now more of a typical public figure? If that's the case, I would have just kept it as-is but renamed the Sektur subforum to to be something more Nick-focused instead. Whatever works, I guess.

Same could be said for furries or grifters but those boards got merged. The excuses that null used to merge the other boards could apply to stinkditch too because I doubt that there are users that only want to look at trannies and are not just focusing on one or two of them.

I'm surprised by the no growth with Kiwifarms since the dropKF stuff. I thought it was steadily increasing with time. Then again my view of it might be skewed, cause we see big surges of viewers when big events happen, but that goes down quick after a day or two. Like the Kirk assassination, Kingcobra, Idubbbz Snakening, etc.

Well i hope you get a better understanding of the stagnation, and hopefully something is found to help grow the community.
