I just wanna show all the OG, hard-r, classic racists here that Forza has ripped of a superior classic series.

Only the 2nd game, here if you wanna play it.

There's a fanmade Twisted Metal 5 if you want.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=eNZTvuIWcpsAlso, the game I jokingly mentioned above, Burnin' Rubber is a great series if you want a lite experience of those games.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=8zp0DqpTZe0The best one in the series is Burnin' Rubber 4 GOTY Edition, which is essentially Twisted Metal or Carmageddon but with an open world experience.

I'd like to add to this, apparently I just found out that there's a Twisted Metal rip-off game about WWE on the PS2 called WWE Crush Hour.

Some possible upcoming car brands are mentioned in FH6's credits:

I don't know how the NETA licensing is going to work, since they declared bankruptcy in 2025, and restructured and restarted operations later that year.

And unless the BYD credits also covers their upper-tier brands Denza and Yangwang, BYD's cars don't seem to be that exciting to include in a Horizon game. The only ones that would stand out would be the Yangwang U9 Hypercar (which was recently added to Gran Turismo 7), the Denza Z sports car (which would cause conflicts because Nissan's Z models are in the game), and the BYD Racco (a EV Kei car they are making specifically for the Japanese market):

The recent geopolitical tensions with China and Japan/US are also probably limiting the licensing of Chinese cars, as only Wuling has returned in FH6 so far, I think.

Do my eyes deceive me? Spyker is on that list? You can't go and get my hopes up like that. I would have thought they would have ran into similar licensing issues, but apparently Russian investors bought it up in 2021.

I told you it'd be a meme. Now several Twitter gaming profiles are having fun with it. Hitman, Cyberpunk, Xbox. Shows how much power the consumer has.
Speaking of drivatars, it's odd how they mostly are the same few names for everyone and how one of them is a fucking youubter. So everyone who plays this game has a youtuber's handle shoved in their face. Said youtuber is HokiHoshi by the way. Bet he's buttmad that he didn't take off like BowieKnife99 did.

It depends if they randomly break down and start a fire like their IRL versions.
Imagine if Bowie_Knife99 was driving a BYD, that would end his winning streak.

The real horror would be if Bowie Knife99 in a BYD bursts into flames, and still either wins the race or rams you off the track. That would make hell of a photo though.

KT Racing has posted their May 2026 Solar Club Letter for TDU Solar Crown, with more talk about "what's to come in Season 7", including photo mode adjustments, camera tweaks, and mentioning about an offline mode.

The seasonal/weekly challenges seem like a very late tacked-on feature to the game. Even when they were added to Gran Turismo 7, it didn't feel as much of a forced added feature. The line where they said that "what does offline mean to you?" is not reassuring, and they're still insisting that the game will last to Season 8 and beyond. Also, why does it take them 7 seasons to "consider" adding adjustable rim sizes to a racing game, while games like Forza Horizon and The Crew have had those features for years.

I wonder, do developers actually test their difficulty modes?
I think a lot of the devs could beat this game pretty easily themselves, the problem is that they're terminally autistic nips (that also playtested the game probably a thousand times). I've almost unlocked the AX cup now though, so I guess I'm also terminally autistic. I really do like that this game gives you nothing if you don't earn it.

Forza Horizon 6 also apparently blocks the numbers 63 and 33 on license plates for some reason:

Apparently, 63 is some sort of slur way to say Downs Syndrome. I don't know why 33 would be problematic, unless the devs REALLY hate this Israeli DOTA 2 player and 2-time The International Champion:

I got bored and asked Google's AI even thought it's impossible for it to know the answer and it said this dumb shit

Something tells me it's not gonna garner a good a reception here, just a hunch.

I'll save my hype for when we see some gameplay and know how the driving physics are. I've become pretty jaded with games made by "former ___ devs" here lately. It would be a breath of fresh air to have some, hell any story in a racing game these days. Not every new racing game needs to be a GT3 at Spa simulator.

Customization down to Maccers shart stain on the torn fabric seat they say? A story somewhat akin to GTA? And then the trailer ends on some cartoony grappling hook gimmick that lost my interest instantly. If they're cooking up GTA without guns or leaving your car, well, GTA6 will be better unless the physics here will be on par with Gran Turismo 7 and I doubt that if Fast & Furryus gimmicks will be the focus.

Hell, best F&F game was the PS2/PSP "Tokyo drift" because it was an amazing Genki game that only borrowed character names and location from the movie and was otherwise a pretty polished Genki game with both drifting and racing elements present. And the soundtrack was one of the best racing game ones too.

But look at Horizons and the wonderfully repetitive and boring stories they have! lol. I'll take something actually interesting and engaging at this point.
