3 is when the enshittification started, but it's still decent. 4 is tolerable, if compared to 5 and 6. So I'll say go for it.FH6 didn't hook me like 1 and 2. Should I try 3 or 4?
Well, the Forza Motorsport series has been discontinued in favor of Horizon and from recent layoffs. Shame, I remember Forza Motorsport 3 being a pinnacle of track racing for any platform yet.If you want an actual challenge, play Forza Motorsport. Or an actual sim, for that matter.

Of course it has, this was made during the peak of classic top gear, and besides that clarkson is one of the holy three of automotive genius.this intro has aged like a fine wine.

Use a Formula Drift car with an R-class AWD tune, keep the speed up but make sure that you're always drifting. Easy mode. The stunt jumps/speed traps/etc are fun but the fucking drift zones are insane.
You realize that you don't have to race S2 class? You can race whatever class you want and the campaign forces you to use lower class cars. By the way, some of the PR stunts require good driving and an R-class car in order to get 3 stars (e.g. the dirt speed trap near the rocket launch site). There is no progression nor sense of accomplishment to take pride in. I played for 30 minutes and owned 4 S2 Class hypercars, solely from wheelspins. I didn't grind for them, I didn't win them in a challenge, they were handed to me.
If you have an ultimate grip tune, you will get destroyed on any track with long straights. It's also not an issue for lower classes. The physics give almost any car you want F1 levels of grip and power. There's videos of people going around circuits taking tight corners and never even having to release the throttle. Driving is fun because it's hard, and it's dangerous. Cars are not glued to the ground. Take a corner to fast, die. Take a corner too slow, get run over and die. Accelerate too early? Spin out. Brake too late? Hello walls. Shift wrong? You picked a fine time to leave me flywheel. But in this game, you can just hold the throttle wide open while you ruminate on the fact that your father left you and Darius is now fucking your 300 pound mother in the bedroom directly above you.
He trailbrakes into the hairpins, going 75% brake on entry and only fully releasing the brake at the corner midpoint. That's exactly how you'd drive those corners in real life. If he did 100% brake on corner entry, he'd lock up the tires (since he's disabled ABS).
In the 180 hairpins he never even gets fully on the brakes. There's turns there that no sports car would ever be able to take flat out, and yet he does with ease lol. If this is "technical" then god damn, gran turismo must be wizardry to people.
He doesn't. He could go play iRacing, but judging by his lack of driving knowledge, he'd spin out on the first corner in the starter Miata and never play again.I get you want a more realistic racing game but that's just not what arcade racing games are.
FH3 had a nice setting and good expansions (Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels).FH6 didn't hook me like 1 and 2. Should I try 3 or 4?
But how does one "drift" in Forza Horizon?Use a Formula Drift car with an R-class AWD tune, keep the speed up but make sure that you're always drifting. Easy mode.
If you have a proper drift tune, all you have to do is disable traction control, hold down accelerate, and steer from one side of the road to the other and back. But how does one "drift" in Forza Horizon?
I’m telling them the easiest possible way to get all stars on all zones. It’s a lot easier with AWD, 1000+ hp, a welded diff, and increased steering lock. You don’t need a fucking drift tune. Just rwd , loads of power and boot it.
Drift tunes ffs
Probably the latterBeamNG.drive will be coming to PS5:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=83mWWlAXJQYI do wonder if the game will be optimized for the base PS5, or will it make a PS5 sound like a turbojet engine with the fans running at max speed?
