‘Powerpuff Girls’ Live-Action Series - Officially Dead

Because of that, people theorized that
A) He's descended from Samurai Jack
B) He IS Samurai Jack
Yup. I liked that era of CN, there was a lot of crossover like the Ed's knowing about the Kids Next Door or stuff like this

I forgot about that! Add that to the list of shitty things Professor "Drake" Utonium did. What's the scoreboard looking like?

Black Utonium

-Shitty dad who mentally abused his daughters and forced them to fight for fame and money
-kept the white man down
-Stole from said white man
-game back years later to CONTINUE to abuse his now 20 Y/O daughers who're just trying to move on and do drugs.
-WHITE WASHED HIS OWN DAUGHTERS, and himself I guess(?) for fame and money on a TV show.
-Was apparently determined to be a single dad by repeatedly telling Bellum "this isn't your family, you're not a part of it!"

Am I missing anything?

Asian(?) Utonium

- Fantastic dad who found time to teach the girls good morals
- Wanted a relationship; treated women with respect.
- didn't keep whitey down.
- was an actually well written.
- loved his daughters so much, he tried fighting crime with them, too!

Things ain't looking good for ol drake here.
He also is revealed to be the one who made all the monsters the girls fight.

So, White Professor is a good, loving father, and Black Professor is an abusive criminal.

I'm glad that in this new, progressive age, we no longer have racist stereotypes being pushed on TV.
It's funny how the show is basically turning the professor into that one asshole colleague he used to have that wanted to exploit the powerpuff girls for money and had nothing to offer on his own.

I hear Lauren Faust regrets that episode, which is ridiculous, since it's not even an "All feminists are bad!" message.

Too awful for tv tropes, what an achievement.
She regrets it because she got a lot of people yelling at her and death threats over it, apparently.
Really? I've heard nothing but praise for that episode. You sure you guys aren't confusing Faust's regretful episode full of bad criticism/death threats being "Everyone Knows it's Bendy" from Foster's? The show was already painful thanks to Bloo but that episode in particular was fuckshit.

Ahhh fun. Remember that? Me either. :heart-full:

I dunno, Gumball is pretty fun.

That was true? Like it wasn't a meme? God, I thought that was a joke at the script's expense, but I guess I'm to numb to be surprised.
“Gritty and realistic” apparently means all men have to be utterly terrible evil people unless the main characters think they’re attractive.

It also means "black people are the worst" if we're going off of what this show think. Hilarious behavior from the so called progressives. I still hope that pilot leaks, though.

They already have and his name's Clive.

I found a bingo card on Know Your Meme. Source is Tumblr (archive), but whatever.

Only a script and it's already almost a blackout.

You really not circling terrible CGI?? This is the CW you know.
Might as well throw in “Love Triangle” too since Buttercup keeps cheating on all her girlfriends and Blossom apparently was already flirting with Jojo Jr despite having a boyfriend/fiancé/whatever.

Oh, and “Unnecessary Sex Scene” with that “six times is more than enough” bit.

Eh, why not? I circled "A LOT OF BLOOD" for equally frivolous reasons. I've updated the chart to circle those three boxes. "Unnecessary Sex Scene" and "Love Triangle" each gave one extra bingo!

Now that I think of it, wouldn't it be impossible for them to show the Gangreen Gang in a bad light. They are almost twitters wet dream for the "victim" checkboxes, aside from being all males.
Nah they'd portray them as victims of Utonium or something like that.
