It's pretty far off from my research into it, and I'm speaking as a reloader myself. Edit: for the common man

Even if somehow in the near future there's a way to make a metal free gun. Phil won't have the money, brain power or drive to do get one so no scare.

This was early development kinda stuff, the ammunition we use today hasn't really had the same kind of leap forwards than firearms have it's just been gradual small improvements along the way and it's likely to be seen in military weapons long before it enters the civilan market anyway.

Dunno if he ever actually ended up getting it as a tattoo.

He didn't but he used to show of the source of that image and it's traced from a print out.

Himself? Idk. But he at least has a character that fits that description.

I have only have a small version of that in the archive and I havent been able to find a larger version till you posted it, but It's supposed to be state intelligence (ha) or secret police, Phil used to an still does to some extent have this idea that anything higher than local law enforcement is some pseudo millitary hit squad even in the US.

Every time I see a post by you in this forum it's either raging at Phil for spending taxpayer money or talking up a largely irrelevant storm about guns and how you understand them better than him and find his inferiority/ignorance to be upsetting and rant-worthy. I like you and I think you're better than this. Please be better than this.

Eh, guns are my thing. They've been a huge part of my life and one of the few topics that I'm really knowledgeable about. I've been a collector, carried them for work, and worked in the industry manufacturing and assembling them. I'm sorry if it bothers you when I sperg about them, but I'm going to keep doing it until told otherwise by site staff. I gotta be me, fam.

Sounds like his dealing with the Secret Service over the whole McCain picture hit him hard.

I don't think anyone has picked up on this yet on here, but there's a rather fascinating facet to the gun of choice that our friend hooves decided to sperg over.

There is one Kel-Tec PF-9 in particular that is commanding the current news circuit as it were, the one that our good friend George M. Zimmerman used to kill the rampaging, teenage POC, Trayvon Martin.

Unrelated to the topic, Zimmerman is actually trying to sell that pistol right now.

Both Zim and Phil are fans of that leaky peashooter? Anyone with half a brain who knows anything will avoid Hi-Point and Kel-Tec products. They're not conducive to good reviews. You're better off with one of Royal Nonesuch's earlier, more dubious builds. Looks like internet trolls are having some serious fun with the auctions though...but seriously, I would die a happy man if I never heard the names Trayvon Martin or George Zimmerman ever again. At this point, we're just beating dead horse pulp into the ground.

You better stop liking what other people don't like man, not cool.

Seriously though, your posts on firearms are pretty informative, and quite relevant to potato man trying to arm himself here...thankfully he's too much of a wimp to talk to people who will sell to him no questions asked.

Also, in case you care, Kel-Tec is a descendant of Intratec, who created the Tec-9 pistol, another low quality piece of shit that wannabe bangers think is badass.

I agree, but OtterParty is making a point that I've seen many people talk about ; the Phil updates where he posts like a one little thing about a gun or an image featuring a missile can pretty fast derail into very detailed geopolitics/gun/military talk that barely has anything to do with the update. So that's why this thread exists, hopefully to strike a happy medium between people being able to talk about Phil's relationship/knowledge with guns/military more freely and having the update threads to focus on the Phil update itself, rather than the side chatter.

Personally I'm happy that we've got people who are knowledgeable on these subjects and can share that knowledge with us, but we also kind of have to take into account that threads do sometimes balloon a bit when the side chatter goes off-topic.

I wouldn't be worried about Phil arming himself and hurting somebody else, it would be shooting himself. Either by accident or as a form of suicide it's easier to kill yourself with a gun than a plastic knife to the gut. I don't want to start a gun control debate but I think I've heard more often than not a gun shot wound is the result of turning it on yourself.

Anyone obsessed with guns is a lolcow.

As long as there's a place for the information to go, it's all good to me. I'm into them to a degree, but I'm not going to be the first to raise my hand on that stuff, so to speak. I always appreciate @The Dude and his input though. AUGH YEAH

Anyone obsessed with guns is a lolcow.

The firearm community does tend to attract its fair share of potential lolcows, as does any community, but more often than not, they're more the "weird dude that hangs out with us that we don't have the heart to dismiss" types. I associate more with the "build your own" kinds of guys, anyway. They're actually pretty knowledgeable, and, surprisingly, quite sane and normal-ish.

As far as Philthy Phil goes, I for one would not loan him any of my firearms for any reason. :o

Thankfully, he already blew his firearm fund on more shitty tattoos. Time to start placing bets on how soon he'll run out of room?

Ok guys, Phil's latest saga seems to be his firearm saga. We know Phil is a complete failure in everything he ever does, so how do you think this will go down?

Rate me optimistic but I'm skeptical Phil actually has a gun. I feel like if he did he'd post pictures of it by now.

He doesn't actually have a gun but will loudly talk shit about it until he gets the attention of cops. Then he will be arrested for some other illegal Tyce level weapon he carries around in his bag full of bondage gear and garbage.

Phil will lie his ass of about getting one. We will continue to see through his lies. Phil will get butthurt that we don't believe he's armed and fabulous, so he will bounce and squeak his way down to the local surplus/sporting goods store and buy a slightly real looking airsoft gun. He will paint the orange barrel tip black and take photos to show us. Those of us who can tell a real firearm from airsoft will point it out. We'll all laugh at Phil. Phil will get even more pissy and in a fit of tard rage and sexual frustration Phil will stick the airsoft pistol's barrel up is has and furiously masturbate. The end.
