I never could quite gauge if Phil was truly one of those eastern bloc obsessed spergs similar to the guy that shot those two police officers in Pennsylvania. I get that Phil likes the ragtag proletariat conscript look of a lot of those Slavic armies, but going through a lot of his devianTart shit in my research for the Australatina Lolcow Wiki article, he seems to cite a mixture of NATO and Eastern Bloc weaponry, notably the FN FAL, M16A2, and some Heckler & Koch guns (Though maybe Phil might have thought that H&K was Easter German at some point, but in truth the company was unable to secure government funding due to the political climate at the time and ended up getting sold to British Aerospace's Royal Ordnance).

Anyway, it just seems kind of off for Phil, given how obsessive and autistic he is.

Back when he didn't want to gas the kikes and pretended to be one of the Goys, he very much based his dumb nation on Israel. That's where the NATO stuff popped in. When he began to flail about communism, he mostly just mimicked Soviet Russia, probably because it's easier to find soviet tech than chinamen ones using Google. This mostly swapped the more he began to squeak and bounce about Marxism and especially came to a point when he said fuck the Jews.

His new spergery regarding Saturday Specials is most likely a way to pretend he is a hard core latino, since keltec and other things like it are bought for their cheapness by the gangs.

Certain South American countries tend to use a similar mixture of weapons as ADF is using for his Australatina, for example Venezuela uses a mixture of Russian / Belgian / American / Israeli weapons. Colombia also utilizes Israeli / Belgian / American weapons so I'd put this under ADF doing his research (well, looking up stuff from Wikipedia).

There's a little blurb on the image where it says it's rechambered in 7.62x51, which would mean his troops would either use 7.62x51 or 5.56x45.
ADF seems to mostly if not exclusively to have drawn his troops using NATO weapons, he draws AKs when he fanboys over Soviet Union or Islamic Terrorists.

Glocks were controversial at first since they were effectively all plastic in design. While they have a metal plate or two in them to prevent that whole "illegal to use due to being undetectable" thing, it was a big issue back in like the 80s when they tried exporting to Murika. Thing is that a determined criminal can get that plate removed. So the pigman is basically squeaking about a gun that may or may not raise an eyebrow since he also postures about wanting to murder people.

The whole "plastic/porcelain gun that can get past metal detectors" thing is Hollywood bullshit, originally coming from the second Die Hard movie. There is no such thing as a gun that can get through metal detectors.

Yes Phil, choose the pistol with absolutely no kind of active safety mechanism.

For those who don't know, GLOCK pistols have no active safety mechanism, like a lever the shooter has to "actively" disengage to fire the weapon. They have a "passive" safety mechanism, meaning the user doesn't have to think about disengaging it. It's a small lever built into the trigger that blocks the trigger from moving unless the shooter's finger, or similar shaped object, is on the trigger move the lever. It's perfectly safe as long as you know what you're doing, but for a firearm naive person (like Phil) they can be a little more dangerous to handle.

Even the high end theatrical models have the same safety on them, the cheep one's just have a bit of plastic on the trigger that looks like the safety but is totally cosmetic, I have one of the cheeper one's in my gun safe because I used to use it for dog training (retreiver). And even for some one who is trained in firearm safety where that kind of safety isn't common because that kind of firearms isn't common it's still confusing as hell the first few times you come across it because you instinctively look for the manual safety.

Well, there is that gun you can 3D print that's illegal, but that thing's quality is naff.

I also forgot there were metal components besides the plate that was put in, thus making it detectable regardless. I reckon that Phil wouldn't know this though until this was brought up.

I'm curious now on which other gun he'll bring up. My guess is another Saturday Night Special.

Currently there is a big push in non metallic ammunition, I saw one document a while back where some one was talking about a Ceramic Polymer hybrid caseless round while it wouldn't set off a metal detector it sure as hell would show up on a metal detector.
