Dingdong will likely become boring again and not really warrant a thread
In a more-lucid state, DD behaves fairly-well. Beyond long-gone minor slipups in the past, he has decent opsec and seems to understand how of this all works, and that he should avoid the metaphorical bottle. There was a while a ways back where I regarded him as a good example of how to slide away from e-celebrity back into your own niche comfortably, which I think is the secret yearning of many people trapped in the spotlight.
It's just that once he's had a metaphorical sip, he can't help himself. In that way, I would compare him to Jeremy Hambly of all people, who had his own (boring) thread that was frequented, for a time, only by devoted haters of his stupid ass (like me). The thing is, Hambeast eventually went and did something egregiously stupid that got the internet mad at him. But when DingDong gets on the metaphorical sauce, he just... does this. Every single time.
The only reason it's even remarkable to begin with is precisely because half of the time, he seems to understand why it's a bad idea. People want him to stay in that state of mind, and they (at least at the beginning of it all) liked the guy, and earnestly hoped he'd conquer this particular character-flaw. That's what made it captivating. Turning on Oney more overtly and the "Oneyplays ruined my life" are noteworthy-enough to get the motor going for these hundred-some pages...
...but he doesn't
do anything. It's gonna be the same stuff next time. It's gonna be this, forever, unless and until other people spill the beans with receipts on him. I think that's the point at which there might be thread potential, but otherwise it's just a part of the Oneyplays Thread Cycle of Life.
