I should point out the significance of Ocarina of Time (for Switch 2, they seem to have gone the Capcom route of not adding a subtitle) being graphically unimpressive. This might come as a surprise to many of you, but Nintendo has always viewed most of their in-house games to be "tech demos" (ignore the negative connotations of this term, there's not really a better way to say it) to show off what the hardware is capable of. Ocarina of Time is a prime example of that, although the graphics were not strictly speaking the focus for its first release, since it was more focused on showcasing the capabilities of N64 cartridge technology, especially with respect to rom size limitations. However, it was a decent enough demonstration of the 3D capabilities of the system at the time, and it continued in this capacity for the 3DS remake. In fact, the most important hardware features of the 3DS were graphics features (power and 3D display), so the game was given a total visual overhaul to demonstrate the graphical power of the 3DS. Making another graphics focused remake of OoT with bad visuals only makes the hardware seem pathetic, an "anti-tech-demo" as it were, and is likely to harm future sales of the console.
