Next you'll tell me you have higher standards than playing games with sub-standard graphics and 30FPS!
Man, bait used to be belivable, nowadays it goes against the point the people making the bait in the first place, if only i had an XHD of bait to use that could be upscaled but otherwise looks and performs about the same...

I expect nothing today, and will in all likelihood still be disappointed. I expect to cringe at Fire Emblem: sheboon's weave, I pray the OOT remake is a lie, and I will happily make fun of it all.
One day I'm going to break into Arlo's house and steal that puppet in order to live stream burning it in front of the whole world.
I'll help hold him down.

I usually don’t condone violence against puppets
However, if you genuinely did that and crucified that puppet live while having irl Paper Mario as a cohost…. Hell I may seriously consider gifting you a Switch 2

You think destroying one Arlo would end this? Oh you sweet, naive kiwis.

Nah. I'm tired of open world shit. Give me Super Mario 64 2. A set of tight semi-linear levels with a bunch of objectives to complete in it. But because we live in the awful homosexual timeline, it will most likely be Odyssey 2 (if it happens at all)
It'll be something original, Nintendo doesn't really make cross-gen sequels for 3D Mario, or even direct sequels outside of the unique cases of Galaxy 2 and 3D World.

Would love to have the 3D World style semi-return though. DK can be the big open 3D Mario, gives us another linear multiplayer title and include more playable characters, I want Yoshi, Toadette and Daisy at least. Wario if Nintendo is feeling a little generous. Just please take the wild world design of Odyssey, the uniqueness of the Kingdoms compared to standard Mario is something that should carry over.

Otherwise, where is my Sunshine remake in the style of DS Nintendo, where is it?

The livestream is mostly indieslop and ports, so far. Except for Fire Emblem, which looks about as half-baked as 3H did

For fucking real. It was literally all third parties - I have a perfectly fine gaming PC, why would I not play all of those games on that instead? And there were zero heavy hitters from their exclusive catalog.

No Mario (except for referential DLC for DK Slopnanza)
No Kirby
No Animal Crossing

And the few first party IPs they did show are either ports or remakes.

Looks like I'm skipping the Switch 2 for yet another year. 300 pages in and still no killer apps.

Pokopia DLC
Xenoblade Genesis (with the first 3 games getting S2 updates)
Kingdom Hearts IV (with the collections finally coming to S2)

Eh, I've had worse. That new FF game interests me too.
the new FF game shouldn't interest you, it used to be a gacha game called Brave Exvius, the game shut done and they repurposed it as a console game

Holy shit lmao, I own a Switch 2 so I'm not even concern trolling here but jesus christ this is such a pathetic direct and gives almost zero hope for the next year.

The only games I vaguely care about are Xenoblade 4 and Ocarina of Time remaster and I'm already treading ground with Xenoblade after the car crash of 3, and a £60 remaster of a game that tingles the memberberries isn't going to justify fucking nothing for the next year.

It's looking like no mainline Mario for the first TWO YEARS of the Switch 2, you'd think they'd at least throw a few bones for games long in the future so people can panic buy the console before the price increase. If they can drop practically a title card for a Zelda game coming out later this year why not drop a title card for a Zelda coming out in 2+ years?

Like don't get me wrong here, having a console that's able to play the definitive versions of all Xenoblade games to a good standard is cool, but it begs the questions of "why even fucking release 2 and 3 in the first place if the console was never good enough to handle it?"
