He is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest man in MMA, even if you are not a Muslim.
Cultivated multiple champs, leading the poor backwater mountain boys to a path of success and preventing them from being terrorists. The only ones who hate him are butthurt fanboys like MMAGuru because their favorite fighters lost to the dagis.
I think it's just because besides a select few of them, most of them are boring crotch sniffers.

UFC at the White House has got to be one of the best UFC PPVs/events/whatever you call a UFC fight now that it's on Paramount+ that I have ever seen. Every fight was good. The only "boring" part was when Bo Nickal wrestled Kyle Daukus (no relation to Michael Dukakis) to the ground, but as soon as the refs stood him up, he got the knockout. The whole card from top to bottom was good. I'm glad Trump hosted this fight at the White House.

So what's next for Gane?
Volkov?
Hokit?
Or are they gonna make him wait for Aspinall?
Tommy of course, I predicted Gane to expose Tom before the first match. Now it's time for Gane to finish the job (and not cheating this time, he really doesn't have to. Tom is a sloppy brawler who only has speed and explosive power. Both Gane can easily neutralize.)

That's the fault of the rule set, not dagis. Again, making ground knees legal and they will instantly be the most exciting to watch.

Edit: And here's the real question: Will Ilia go An Hero? He really gives a vibe that he's going to livestream his suicide.

The bread is stale.
The circus is boring.
I can barely afford a house.
Jews own my nation.
You're posting on Kiwi Farms, goy.

Gaethje's last opponent if McGregor pulls it off lmao.

This is one for the history books. I doubt an upset like that on a card like that will be done again any time in the next 20-30 years.
There will be another within a few years. You can find lists of the biggest UFC/Strikeforce/Pride upsets in history and there are usually no more than two or three years between them. And sometimes you get a cluster of upsets happening in close succession. We've had a bunch of fighters losing their streaks or zeroes and a few big title upsets this year already. Been pretty exciting.

With Alex losing and Hokit winning, I wonder if the UFC will try to justify them fighting so they can farm a lot of drama and shit talking build up.

There's ways to throw a fight without getting your face rearranged by a sledgehammer
If he wanted to dive could have just done it in round 3 after he got hurt.

The performance of a career without a doubt. For the first time for me he looked like (and is) a championship fighter. Jabbed right away, used his wrestling (which he famously hates doing) to get to the clinch (which he likes), had to weather a really cool bit of offence in round 2 from Ilia that I thought was close to having it stopped (and apparently after the fight in the presser, said his guys were all kinds of fucked up).

Ilia on the other hand looked like he believed this was a squash match and flung himself at Gaethje trying to kill him in 2 rounds. Gassed and (if translations are correct) had to be saved by his brother in round 4. You look at some of his other fights where he really respects the opponent, his defence is a lot more on point.

Not sure why you guys are celebrating this card so much. Bunch of stomp matches that ended in round one. Good title fight. No wrestling besides Bo for like one minute. If you all love straight up boxing so much I've got the perfect sport for you, its called boxing and pretty much everyone but you thinks it sucks now.

The final two fights made it worth along with the Lopes one. The rest are meh though, I'd still give it a 8/10 because of the result.
Anyway:

This is the year of the upsets. This sport is so unpredictable lmao. Like, who the fuck was picking Gaethje? Anyways, I am actually picking Ian Garry to beat Islam now. Watching film and trying to see each fighter's strengths and weaknesses isn't worth shit anymore so fuck it, I will just bet on the established high level fighters getting upset now. I can't wait to see Sean or Umar beat Yan next

That body shot flurry Topuria threw in round 2 was the finishing move, the man put everything in those shots, and Justin managed to keep the lights on, even if barely.

A bunch of people said that Ilia fumbled when he went to grapple after those shots when Justin was hurt, but I think that was Ilia going for a body lock or choke atempt to see if he could get some gas back, because he was dead after that, he didn't have the power to finish Gaethje.

And that is the thing, Justin is a power puncher and this is the first time Ilia got to see what being hit in the lightweights is really like. Charles also hits hard, but his fight with Topuria ended was too fast. After a couple of stiff jabs from Gaethje, Topuria looked surprised, and this is not good.

Also, I think Justin cracked Topuria's ribs with a knee on R4, that is why the call was made.

But all the credit goes to Gaethje, how he survived those bodyshots is beyond me, he should've have folded right then and there.

It was indeed a Cinderella night for the man, stuff that can only happen in combat sports.

Neither of those are really upsets. The only upset to make now I can think of is Dern vs Weili but no one gives a fuck about WMMA
