That flower lipstick that I posted about ordering like 3 months ago finally arrived! I was convinced that the website scammed me since I found it through Facebook and the lipstick didn't ship for so long. Obviously I'm not gonna buy anything else from that place again since taking that long to send the thing is unacceptable, however I feel kinda bad for sending a couple of angry e-mails to their customer service considering the fact that my order actually arrived eventually. :stress:

On the plus side I really like the lipstick and I might get a few other colours someday since they're all way too pretty (even if they're all the same colour when you apply them lol), just probably from a place with faster shipping next time!

Since there have been several posts about piercings-

I would like to get my nose pierced (not a septum piercing, just a regular nostril piercing). My youngest kid just turned a year old and still likes grabbing at my face, so maybe I need to wait until she gets a little older? Thoughts?

Having known a mother who had nose piercings around a baby/toddler? Yes. Do wait a little longer, specially if it's a ring and not a stud. A stud will get yanked out and lost or eaten by the child all too easily.

A ring will get pulled and pulled with all the force in their tiny being. But if you do decide to get the piercing while they're young, you can reaffirm and teach them young not to touch things like piercings. It's about a 50/50 on what you'd like to do there. They're at that perfect age for learning, but terrible twos are just around the corner.

I might get a Medusa lip piercing one day (the one in the middle of the cupid's bow). I always wanted snake bites back during my wannabe scene kiddo weeb phase but my mom wouldn't let me get extra piercings other than my ears since I was like 11-14 at the time; I don't like the look of them as much as an adult (they're a bit 3edgy5me) but I think Medusa piercings are super pretty.

Some belly button piercings look good but I'd be forever paranoid of it getting caught on something or my body rejecting it and pushing it out which was a horror story that went around my secondary school back in the day (a bunch of popular girls in my year got invited to a birthday party where they all had it done).

The facial piercings look so cute, but I notice a lot of people have a habit of playing with them, which is not so cute to me. Especially the snakebite ones, or any under the bottom lip; people move their mouths in weird ways, unconsciously. Maybe I'm the only one who notices but once you start seeing it you can't stop! I do like the Monroe though.

I love the belly button ones. But I've had a lot of abdominal surgeries and am scarred so no point, it wouldn't be cute. Plus my ear piercings hurt enough so I never want to do it again! I'm a wimp, which is also why I have no tats although I'm probably going to brave it one of these days.

A friend has a diamond stud dermal right where a necklace would hang and it's so pretty!

I've replaced my normal toner for Pixi Glow Tonic and can't say enough good things about it. I feel like an idiot for not getting into glycolic acid based products sooner, and that as a base will be my next binge in products purchased. Superb moisturizer and exfoliater, literally leaves your skin glowing and taut. @CasualSeppuku

got my birchbox and bath and body works order (semiannual sale fuck yeah) on the same day!!! it's like girly christmas for me today :heart-full:

I got my Colourpop package on Monday and I am honestly convinced that these may be my go-to for eyeshadows (along with Urban Decay -- I debate on getting the new Naked palette for my birthday). I was skeptical about the brand at first, but I think they work decently and feel nice. I look to buy more with my next paycheck.

I found one of those on Ebay for like 3 bucks and free shipping in January, came like 3-4weeks later. (from China) maybe try eBay or Aliexpress next time?

Yeah, planning on that.

I totally want Naked Heat even though I already have ABH Modern Renaissance and Too Faced Sweet Peach and therefore no reason whatsoever to buy this palette.

For me, it's the fact that the shades appeal to me more than the ABH MR palette. I do have second thoughts due to the warm-toned shades, being cool-toned and all.

I think in regard to lip products, the fall drug store collections are totally bringing it. Revlon and Maybelline have both released new metallic lipsticks that are awesome and cheap. Revlon's are liquid, Maybelline's are solid, and they both include some more off-the-beaten-path colors, and between the two, you could probably dupe a shit ton of popular metallics from more expensive brands. I'm kind of excited for Covergirl and L'Oreal, which should be dropping into stores in the next couple of weeks.

I've started using chemical exfoliation products again for about two weeks now and I've already seen a difference. My skin is brighter, smoother and the larger pores on one cheek seem less obvious.

I've also fallen in love with the Barry M Molten Metal nail polishes. I adore metallics and the glitter in them isn't chunky. The trouble is that my nail polish chips like crazy at work because we're always lifting products, changing labels (getting them into the plastic shelf edges is a recipe for increased chipping), and delivery days are the worst. Wrapping the tips with Seche Vite doesn't seem to do much.

I'm trying to grow out my nails after 20 years of biting and I have to keep them polished or else I'll bite. But my polish chips so badly too. The miracle gel brand polish seems to hold up a bit better than usual polish but still chips after a couple days (much less than the promised 14).

The skin on my cheeks/under eyes has been feeling kind of greasy but also kind of dry for the past few weeks.

What do I need to do to fix this? Just more lotion? Is this what exfoliating is for? Someone explain all this feminine stuff to me.

What are you using and how much did it cost? I've been hunting for a chemical exfoliator (in the UK) but I can't find any high street brands that do a purely chemical one, and I can't afford the expensive stuff. I've got this Una Brennan Superfacialist one with salicylic acid but it also has very gritty microbeads. I think there's a Soap & Glory one that also has microbeads - it seems the cheaper brands are still adding mechanical exfoliants to their chemical scrubs which isn't ideal. I do like the Una Brennan one though, you just have to be gentle.

I'm using Nip+Fab Exfoliate Extreme Night pads, which I got in Superdrug for a fiver. 60 pads is a two month supply, too, it was a bargain. I use those in place of toner at night, and once a week I use the Korres 10% AHA mask. That was a gift, though, dunno how much it is. You can get them in Lloyd's Pharmacy iirc. I use an SPF day cream everyday now.

I've not cared for most of the things that Kylie Cosmetics put out (the giveaways are great, though, because hey, free things!), but am I the only one who would like to have the Vacation Edition stuff?

Anyone have a recc for a berry/wine lip stain? It's about 293893820 degrees out here and I can't stand the feeling of lipstick when it's hot.
