Cherry on top if you mention that BSD doesn't seem to have the tranny fanbase and that Mac is technically a closed source fork of BSD that just works, its possible to get Linux to work if BSD can just work via appimages or whatever but the cult of Troonix will never want to improve anything and just acts like its absolutely perfect and even making an obvious joke that even mocks Windows like "The horny but heterosexual jeetcode protects you from gender disease" sets them off because its a cult. Terry Davis being right about a lot doesn't make him right on everything, or right forever. Linux as a desktop OS has exploded with popularity compared to then, with Valve using arch as a base for the Steam Deck and their other upcoming hardware offerings. It's never been easier to use Linux as a daily driver and never needing to use Windows.

I know you’re too autistic to put 2 and 2 together but if you pay attention you can see why people brought it up in the first place. Many of Linus’s hardcore fans seem to troons and for some reason many troons seem to be into Linux so naturally people will talk about it and make jokes. People noticing a pattern is nothing to get annoyed at or call others for deranged for.

K0/Raven Software had an interesting argument that privacy tools have a branding issue and often give awful advice for people to uproot their whole life and use inferior services that are often more tedious and technical rather than a compromise of what the Talon debloater does and the Raven software approach to privacy being for people who are tech savvy but also go touch grass. As a privacy fag myself, I was REEEEEing at Jewgle wanting to lock down Android sideloading but my phone would not work with GrapheneOS so I installed anyAPK and use the ADB bridge for newpipe alongside MicroG services so uprooting everything is not viable even for someone tech savvy like me who was willing to use GrapheneOS. K0 is the only cybersecurity guy ever to be rational about privacy and try to meet people where thry are at so the privacy fags and troonix cultists who think everyone can just switch should be mocked until a better solution comes around.

Eh... the big tool brands cover enough of their stuff in their bright colors that even covered in shit you can still spot a Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, etc. for the companies that make general purpose stuff. These brands use their bright color schemes on 70% of the surface of the tools for a reason afterall. When you start getting into Klein, Hilti, and so on it can become less obvious if they're covered in crap(also a sign of not treating tools properly, there's a difference between dusty and filthy).
The biggest complaint with prosumer tools like DeWalt and especially Milwaukee is that they feel designed to fail, with replacement components being impossible to source or obscenely expensive.
From personal experience, when a Milwaukee impact driver's main board gets fried or the trigger gets gunk in it, the entire tool has to be thrown out motor, trigger, gearbox etc as ALL the electronics are one self contained unit. On DeWalt brushless drills, they changed the left hand threaded screw holding their chucks on with red loctite, making them nearly impossible to get off without a grinder or really heating and beating on the gearbox in low, potentially doing damage.
Makita is pretty good in this regard as they have full parts breakdowns on their website and you can order replacements and repair the equipment yourself without having to go through too much hassle. Hikoki/Metabo HPT nail guns are great as they will sell you the specific regulator needed to recharge the gas spring from any standard air compressor without having to use special nitrogen or send it in to a service center (*cough* Milwaukee).
The most obscene thing about tool companies is the complete lack of proper balance circuitry on their batteries. They are intentionally designed to fail after only a few years of regular use. With every charge the 18650 cells become slightly unbalanced (drift), causing them to degrade or in some cases stop charging altogether.
Below was a great video breakdown showing the reverse engineering of the electronics in a Milwaukee battery. It is interesting to see that they purposefully omit cell balancing even in their latest high output batteries. This guy's channel is a goldmine for all the undocumented features and behavior inside tool batteries.

Fundamentally the tool is designed for the audience: tech "enthusiasts" (read: 20+ with disposable income and a hobby) that do their work on old consoles, computer cases and consumer electronics. I went the route of getting fancy specifically sized Wiha drivers for all the small to medium hex/torx sizes and then a Wera roll of drivers for all the small Phillips/Flathead sizes. These have served me well for all small electronics or repair work I have had to do, especially in hard to reach areas as they are super narrow and perfectly fit the screw heads with zero slop. I thought of an iFixit kit but I wanted the longer reach of the dedicated drivers and the tighter tolerances.
For PH 2, PZ 2 or anything larger I just use a electric 1/4" driver with a good mechanical clutch and decent trigger control, as generally you are putting in more than one screw and they take a while. The trick is to not mash on the trigger like a gorilla, go slow so you will not strip out the bit and use driver bits that fit tight. You will be faster than a fancy ratcheting screwdriver at a fraction of the effort with just as much control.
I have considered a Bosch go gen 3, a chinese mini electric screwdriver or a Bosch installation driver, but as of now my old brushed Hilti 12v works and feels great so I have not had a reason to replace it yet. It looks like an impact driver, but it is directly connected to the motor through a mechanical clutch (avoid E-clutches unless Festool) so you can precisely set the (uncalibrated) repeatable torque.
