What you have to realise is that most of these people are gonna be computre geeks that put togheter serverracks. "Abuse" for them is just using the tool as normal. It's just falling apart due to terrible quality!
Man for 40 dollars get an icon bit set..I have installed an oil pan, coolers, motherboards and it still runs just as good as when i bought it. why tf is any one buying this for 70$I had to look. It's a lifetime warranty, but it covers literally nothing but it breaking out of the package.

Too many people are brand loyalists and are embarrassed to have harbor freight stuff. Its how snapon is still able to cost so much when its not even the best.Man for 40 dollars get an icon bit set..I have installed an oil pan, coolers, motherboards and it still runs just as good as when i bought it. why tf is any one buying this for 70$
"I care so so so so so much about the tech content creator community abloo abloo" says man who chose to not inform any of them of the Honey commission hijacking and remains indignant about that fact. Narcissistic little weasel really does love putting himself up on a cross any time he gets criticized for anything. He is crashing out on reddit now walking back his apology on Billet Labs situation calling their product ewaste

So THATS what inspired wolfetoneLuke shows up at the end as they chop wood with a too small axe:
I don't think I have ever met anyone who actually gives a shit. Caring about brands of tools is almost exclusively a boomer cargoculty type thing of trying to sound experienced and knowledgeable about tools like their dad was but not actually knowing how to. I don't think I have ever seen anyone on any job site actually be judged for the brand of tool he uses outside of obvious banter. Most of the time you can't even tell what brand it is because most people who actually use their shit it will be covered in wear and sawdust or whatever. No one actually gives a shit what you did it with as long as you got it done.Too many people are brand loyalists and are embarrassed to have harbor freight stuff.
I worked with a guy once who used Ryobi tools. There was a lot of judging going then - his shit didn’t work half the time.I don't think I have ever seen anyone on any job site actually be judged for the brand of tool he uses outside of obvious banter
Eh... the big tool brands cover enough of their stuff in their bright colors that even covered in shit you can still spot a Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, etc. for the companies that make general purpose stuff. These brands use their bright color schemes on 70% of the surface of the tools for a reason afterall. When you start getting into Klein, Hilti, and so on it can become less obvious if they're covered in crap(also a sign of not treating tools properly, there's a difference between dusty and filthy). Most of the time you can't even tell what brand it is because most people who actually use their shit it will be covered in wear and sawdust or whatever. No one actually gives a shit what you did it with as long as you got it done.
Well that's what he gets for using home DIY tools on a jobsite.I worked with a guy once who used Ryobi tools. There was a lot of judging going then - his shot didn’t work half the time.
I don't think so it's mostly bent sheet metal and you can get a similar version from harborfreight for a 1/5th of the cost. For handtools these days it dosen't make a difference as to what brand you buy since most of them just make their shit in china. You are gonna beat the crap out of them anways so you might aswell get hasslefree replacemnets.5k for a quality toolbox isn't bad.. for a professional garage. But as a hobbyist it's waaay cheaper to just buy stuff as you go, you don't need half the shit in the pro toolboxes. And then there's stuff you want and doesn't actually come in them, like the >5k toolbox we have at work that has like 6 different sizes of deep sockets instead of a full set.
I've mostly bought tools as I've had a need for them and are probably still under 1k spent, if excluding battery tools and I can't think of a job I couldn't do on my car with them.
While i agree that it dosent matter. People do care and will assume that you are an idiot if you are not using one of the ones that are mainstream. Such as Millwaukee, Dewalt or Makita and no matter how shit covered they are you can still see what color somebody is using.I don't think I have ever met anyone who actually gives a shit. Someone posted a few pages back that their copper cable got stolen, Why? Because it is valuable and not e-waste lolCalling artisanal product e-waste makes him sound extremely salty. By the way, billet labs does do youtube videos of builds too and they're infinitely cooler than anything LTT has ever built

The only time anyone would turn up to a job site with a brand such as Ryobi or Ozito (a.k.a. Einhell) is when their usual tool of choice shits the bed and they need to get a new one in a hurry to finish a job. Ozito is easier to get away with because they're red and look vaguely like Milwaukee tools from a distance, and because almost every tradie in Australia has gone to Bunnings for an emergency Ozito drill or saw at least once in their career.I don't think I have ever seen anyone on any job site actually be judged for the brand of tool he uses outside of obvious banter.
I'm not familiar with vancouvers weather patterns personally, but canada as a whole really does see april and may snows and cold snaps. I know the coast is more mild, but its not unrealistic. Also, i feel like this video is months old. Not sure why they're wearing sweaters and winter hats in April.
