1. The main viewership consists of casual viewer normies who want to know information on computers and cool things you can do with them. They don’t pay attention to anything else related to him, might not even be aware that he has a wife or kids unless they are in a video. Troon ratio 3%

2. Actual nerds. These people are into it the similar reasons normies are, they are either fans or semi casual viewers. Troon ratio 7%

3. Fans. These people are genuine fans of his content and watch him regularly or religiously. Most of these people are nerds but some may just be normies who love his content. Some may join his Discord for updates or even talk in there. Will sometimes enjoy participating in his streams’ chat. Troon ratio 15%

4. Parasocial freak mutants/hard core fans. This group is the bottom of the barrel. It's never been easier to use Linux as a daily driver and never needing to use Windows.

At this point its hard to blame Linux for it when the only remaining issue is the mandatory Kernel Level Anticheat. Its not really something Linux can just "try harder" to support or anything.

You are right to say that Linux is still a fraction and "but it grew a lot" doesn't mean it'll keep growing, but it should at least be judged by its own actions rather than the inactions (or malice, in the case of Kernel Level anything) of others.

The lack of Linux compatibility is deliberate on their part, not as in "oh we do a thing that just isn't compatible with Linux" but that it considers detecting a linux environment at all as reason to refuse to operate.

I don't actually hate Linux. I think that there has been good advances because of it. I think that the freedom it gives though is also it's biggest crutch. Nobody can decide on the ultimate distro, because it steps on someone else's turbo tism project designed for one specific task.

And yes windows is shit. Grew up with Vista. Every single iteration has problems.
