Skimmed it, seems like luke really wasn't into it and just wanted it over with. Maybe hes also getting to the "i'm not getting paid enough for this shit" , revelation.

I mean he's a late 30s/early 40s man living with, what, five other guys because Linus won't pay him what he's worth to do all the Floatplane stuff? While Linus is living it up in a McMansion, the company's burning down, and I'm sure his biological clock is ringing, too. He really needs to ditch Linus and go his own way, or at least threaten to do so if his salary isn't increased to a level that makes sense relative to his responsibilities, before the LTT/LMG/Floatplane brand becomes a KFC-tier radioactive resume stain.Maybe hes also getting to the "i'm not getting paid enough for this shit" , revelation.
Why do you guys think he lives like an Indian when he's COO of Floatplane and CTO of LMG? I'm genuinely asking.I mean he's a late 30s/early 40s man living with, what, five other guys because Linus won't pay him what he's worth to do all the Floatplane stuff? Retard who doesn't know any better and refuses to leave the comfort-zone he's been in for years as Linus' "friend".Why do you guys think he lives like an Indian when he's COO of Floatplane and CTO of LMG? I'm genuinely asking.
I'm guessing because he knows that Floatplane is failing and will go under any day and he's hitched his wagon to a narcissist who could end his employment on a whim for the smallest perceived slight. He knows he has to save every penny he can because his future is uncertain. Why do you guys think he lives like an Indian when he's COO of Floatplane and CTO of LMG? I'm genuinely asking.
Because everything we know of Luke's personal life would seem to indicate such. Why do you guys think he lives like an Indian when he's COO of Floatplane and CTO of LMG? I'm genuinely asking.
It's not even that, it's so silly that apparently youtube has been re-posting the same video for a couple of years discussing the expected August->September dropIf I were to guess the decreased views were merely the fallout from YouTube vs. adblockers. It's as simple as that.
YouTube tried to implement measures that hindered adblockers, and adblockers implemented measured to counter it.
The cause of this was decreased viewership for many channels centred around gaming and technology. People who view these channels are a little more tech-savvy than most, such as people who watch make up artists and fashion shows. I happen to watch both and only these gaming/tech channels have seen a sharp decline.
It will all come to equilibrium in a couple of months again. These people are crying about literally nothing.
They must be in a precarious position if one bad month has them freaking out this much. If only Linus didn't spend all the company's cash on a badminton court.People are busy taking vacations, going back to school, etc. It's really simple, but LTT decided to panic like retards.

. I've been personally experiencing it, with big creators I follow starting to get passively supplanted by more purposeful, smaller channels. I still get them all in my feeds, constantly, but there's usually something better and more appealing now.
are you fucking serious? that feels extremely illegal. What Linus should be talking about is this forces the kid to have a Google account, a gmail account and starts them down the path of a permanent online presence
Municipal schools probably aren't allowed to require the parents buy any electronics whatsoever (education is a right, so the government isn't allowed to discriminate against poor families by requiring them to spend money). If the school requires the children use a laptop I'm sure they'd be happy to have them bring in their own (big savings), but they would be required to provide one free of charge otherwise.are you fucking serious? that feels extremely illegal.
i assumed they had school specific accounts or chromebooks just had an androidOS style and no log in needed
Tech oligarchs specifically pay huge sums of money to keep cellphones, laptops, and computers in general away from their kids, even going so far as to send them to this one Waldorf school that happens to be only a 20 minute drive from both Google and Apple's headquarters where personal electronic devices are hard verbotten and everything in the classroom is still done pen-and-paper or on typewriters. They know what they're doing to our youth. There is a MUCH bigger story here. Schools in the US and Canada are forcing Chromebooks on students. Some schools issue them for free. What Linus should be talking about is this forces the kid to have a Google account, a gmail account and starts them down the path of a permanent online presence. If you really cared about your kids, you'd fight the school district on this, and disallow any devices with that type of invasive tracking. Autistic parents should be like "I'm giving my kid a Linux laptop. They can do all their work on Libreoffice. No, they will not make a Google or Office365 account."
Not that I doubt what you're saying, but I'd like to read the sources on this.Tech oligarchs specifically pay huge sums of money to keep cellphones, laptops, and computers in general away from their kids, even going so far as to send them to this one Waldorf school that happens to be only a 20 minute drive from both Google and Apple's headquarters where personal electronic devices are hard verbotten and everything in the classroom is still done pen-and-paper or on typewriters. Yea you have to be a pretty big fuck up because it's not even that serious, I've been pulled in multiple times just because they find it suspicious for a young guy to cross the border for a few hours by himself (picking shit up). They say "we're going to search your car" you so "ok" and sit in a chair for 20 minutes. Same scenario for literally anyone I've know who's ever been stopped (although they once tore apart my uncle's entire truck and just left the seats on the ground and told him to put it all back by himself lmao). It's obviously super annoying and a huge waste of time (and if you're unlucky you can get it both ways) but unless you're a complete retard or an actual criminal who cares.Sounds like someone was being a sperg and acting suspicious and like they were on drugs so they were questioned, news at 11.
Private schools are called private schools in Canada, you're thinking of the UK.In all likelihood Linus' children attend a public school (Americans call these private schools), so they can impose whichever rules they feel like.
Oh, okay. I thought it was a Commonwealth thing.Private schools are called private schools in Canada, you're thinking of the UK.
