I love Widow’s Bay, you should all be watching it. The penultimate episode is great. It’s the only time though that I’m slightly disappointing because three minutes into the episode it tells you the guy still has descendants and immediately I figured out his son would be one of this spawns that’s why his wife went crazy on the boat etc… etc… I’m 20 minutes in and it hasn’t been confirmed yet, but no need to act like it’s such a huge reveal when it’s easy to figure out if you’ve got two brain cells.

Still a good episode, but spending too much time on side quests.

Edit: Well. Shit.

Edit: You know you're only proving the movie and the Wayans right. These movies are slop and they were always slop and if you're too autistic to just turn off your brain and enjoy slop, you're just proving that these movies aren't for you. As a result...Fuck these kids! (I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that)

Lol. I mean yeah the movies were always slop, but they could have put in a tiny bit more effort for their comeback. Like, scary movie 1 had a better twist than Scream 5-7 (wtf). Plus, there was actually a bit of effort in the movie at times. The actor for Cindy's daughter did put effort acting like her with her mannerisms and the gun actually sounded like a real gun (meanwhile scream 7 had a peashooter for some reason). Apparently there was also a deleted scene of goofy getting into a car accident which explains his character reset, they just cut it out for some reason.

I only paid like $5 so I got what I wanted.

Well, too late, it was renewed today.

Still, I feel like there’s enough lore and stuff going on it can go on one more season. I don’t know how they’d wrap it satisfyingly in one more 30 minutes episode at this point (assuming it’s 10 episodes)
 
I saw The Backrooms and I think it was a pretty solid movie. Would say that maybe the first third could've used with being trimmed down a little but other than that, I'm glad Kane got his dues and I do look forward to the sequel

Yeah Hokum isn't the greatest movie ever but it was enjoyable and liked the bit of folklore attached to it.

Yeah especially if he's glazing some of the worst movies ever including ones with no substance just because it has mass rape in it

Not gonna lie, but I am a bit more interested in seeing Scary Movie 6 compared to Obsession or Backrooms.

Also, while people are complaining about this movie having jokes trying to make fun of the modern culture, there have been other politically charged movies like One Battle After Another and Sinners.

I really loved hokum saw it twice first at MOMI because the creators were there for like an early screening (very nice dudes) but a few days ago Saw it again in in the theater alongside backrooms for free, s’alright wanted to see all the hubub over the amazing dr lipshitz but I value my hygiene. I remember some people groaning when they showed the trailer for scary movie 6.

My regal sucks (but to an advantage) all the theaters are behind the concession stand and down a long hall, there are no ushers to check tickets, so you can leave one movie and camp out in the bathroom for a few minutes before walking into another theater and watching another, sit where you want. Nobody cares.
