The actress was recently on red carpets talking like she expected to be part of season 3, so it doesn't seem to have been that far planned back. Twitter is a total clusterfuck right now blaming Wyle for her sudden departure -- but honestly she's been one of the more forgettable characters this season (more memorable than the way they filed off McKay's edge to make her even more of a writer soapbox, but still) so I don't think it'd be that big of a loss.

I keep imagining what this show could be, instead of what it is.
There's great acting talent, great production design, good editing, good cinematography, even a lot of good character writing and drama in this series and yet I still have to tune out for 5-10 minutes every episode while the writer's room fellates itself into absurdity.
This might be my last season. The fantasy world of the writers is encroaching on the rest of the series ever more, and we don't have nearly as good a framing method for drama as a mass casualty event, just Robby's planned suicide looming over the whole season and some technical difficulties. Bleh.
Maybe if Langdon gets some good material to wrap things up, or the writers finally force real consequences on Santos for being a raging cunt who lets her hatred of the men who remind her of her creepy uncle destroy her patients' lives I'll be back, but she's almost certainly some writer's self insert so neither of those things are going to happen.

i-Stat and Butterfly. The Butterfly one was particularly egregious since that scene where Dr. Abbot broke them out makes zero sense and they kept trying to get that shit in frame.
