It was really frustrating to see Santos make rash decisions all season and get vindicated every single time.
In season 2 she accuses a single dad of abusing her daughter, only for it to be revealed that she has a rare condition that causes easy bruising and blood in the urine... No apologies or "damn maybe I shouldn't just accuse dads of abuse right off the bat," just her giving an "oops! Oh well, better bang my girlfriend later" look to her computer and ignoring the dad getting dumped by his girlfriend right in the hallway.

The only nigger patients are the ones with some sob story or injuries that are not their faults.
Nigger drinks himself to death and repeatedly wastes everyone's time and attention over the course of decades, gets a tearful wake to end the episode. Young white mother of two small kids is dying from a terminal condition that isn't her fault, but let's only give her five seconds of screen time per episode, because Louie is the priority here.

Abbott carries the show hard. At least Dr. Robby's bald negress ex he inexplicably carried a torch for has been written out.

the two indian women are well written. the younger one comes off like a smug know it all and the older is a good listener.

I've heard about this show literally today lol. I've watched 4 episodes so far. It's pleasant to watch so far, because the characters aren't flat. But of course there are cringeworthy woke moments. Like that tranny, that looks totally like ContraPoints. The most cringe scene was when two teenagers overdosed fentanyl on fucking xanax xd It was spreading the message ANYBODY CAN OVERDOSE ON FENTANYL THESE DAYS like yeah sure bro.

I'm totally sure that we can expect total balance and nuance from a show that went out of its way to depict a Jewish survivor of a terrorist attack thanking a hijabbed Muslim for their support,
Two local Muslim groups MPowerChange and CelebrateMercy raised about $900,000 in the aftermath of the shooting at the Tree of Life to help pay medical bills and funeral costs, and support families involved. So yeah, shouting them out would not be amiss. Reminder that the asshole from Bethel Park who shot the place up was a bog standard batshit crazy white dude. Pittsburgh doesn't need your judgement. We're strong enough on our own, and help each other out just fine, thank you very much.

You might be right I got no idea, but we must still remember that muslims are harmful to the West.

Also the muslim nurse doesn't make sense. How is she supposed to practice both medicine and islam? She needs to pray 5 times daily. When is she supposed to pray? Also how can she take part in ramadan? What if she has a night shift during ramadan? She can't eat during the shift and can't eat during the day, so she's gonna faint. She could be nurse on an easier ward.

I'm not sure about Islam, but in sane religions there's usually the rule of "besides outright blasphemy, it is okay to delay practices if someone's life is at stake".

I love it when a nigger is cast as "Genius Doctor/Scientist/Astronaut/Physicist" but the actor constantly mispronounces words.

yeah in Catholicism we get a lot of that especially during the WuFlu you were allowed to skip masses. The saner version of islam probably allows skipping prayers. But the typical muslim would make his wife stay home or at the very least ban her from the job, which involves touching other men.

I can believe, that there is a muslim ER nurse somewhere. What I don't like is normalizing islam. Lefties hate normalizing racism and I hate normalizing islam. If you want to make a morally correct show, you should portray muslims as bad people. If you want to make a whatever show then it's whatever.

edit: I'm on the last episode of the first season I'M DYING FROM CRINGE\
so the redhead is a damn TERF as hell.

:story: As expected, the ICE episode was as sanctimonious as you can get, from Dr. Robby's "fuck you" speech straight out of an "and then everyone clapped" anecdote, an aside that they essentially raided a favorite local restaurant (so where can I get my tacos now!!), and the agents themselves get maybe five lines total so they're about as cardboard strawman as you can get.

Nigga this whole season has been about how overcrowded the waiting room is, to the point people are waiting hours just to be seen and then waiting even longer for basic treatment, and I'm supposed to feel shocked and horrified that illegals (who are taking time and care away from American taxpaying citizens because EMTALA entitles them to) are leaving in droves and freeing up space? On an episode taking place during the 4th of July no less? Sucks that some nurses abandoned their Hippocratic oath and bounced, but like I give a fuck about this poor suffering manager hiring illegals to pay them less under the table, I'm more concerned about the kid who fell from the waterslide collapse last episode and who still hasn't been located.

Glad this show got a thread and is rightfully being shit on. My wife makes me watch it and it drives me crazy. Only saving grace is that Santos is rightfully getting shat on this season. I hate her with a burning passion.

Abbott carries the show hard
Abbott is the only enjoyable part of this show for me. A part of me wishes that they make a night shift spinoff and they hand it to writers that are less of a faggot.

How the fuck is Scrubs more mature about what's happening in hospitals than the drama show?

Let's also not forget the swarms of homeless that they care for while decent people suffer.

They treat Louis like some saint when he was an unrepentant alcoholic who had been milking the system for like 20 years.

My controversial opinion is that some of you don’t have enough lived experience and maturity to be watching a show like The Pitt.

You don’t know what it’s like to have systems working against you systematically, to be caught in situations where black and white don’t exist, where there is no saving someone, where you can be the victim but still be perpetrating your own misery, to know that no matter what you do, you’re still incapable of fixing something perfectly.

You want clear lines drawn in the sand of this is the bad guy and this is what mental health should look like and this is what should be done in XYZ situation when the reality of it is so much more difficult and shaky and impossible. You want characters that are Good and ones that are Bad and the Bad ones don’t get to redeem themselves or fix themselves or have rocky reconciliation.

You shouldn’t be able to form hard opinions because this show constantly tells us that the real world is so much messier than that. People are messier than that. You think you understand characters perfectly but you show that nuanced and complex characters with flaws AND strengths are beyond your level of comprehension.

If you want a happier TV show where people aren’t hurt, aren’t hurting themselves, hurting the people around them, where people are the villain from the beginning to the end with no chance at redemption, go watch a cartoon or something.

Unfortunately, I do think there's a level of maturity and media literacy that people don't have, and I see it from all sides, and it's annoying!!!

first season was good, this one here is pretty gay. there is no way to top the mass casualty event from the first season, gotta ham it up with the anti-ice shit. At least the new nurse storyline is entertaining. Abbot and Dana are the best characters.

This happens with most shows. Their best writing is in the first season. They use up their strongest plots and character moments then run out of ideas but have a deadline of one or two years to churn out an entire season again. When the first season was in development for years or sometimes decades. Then they never recover in the second season or beyond.

Like others have already said, the first season gets carried by certain characters, and imo by the constant risky procedures that the ER staff somehow keeps getting away with. But it eventually gets dull because it just works every time, unless the patient is an obvious lost cause from the start that's used to show people grieving, or a non-character who’s just there to die to move Robby, his stepson or Whitaker. Even in big, high-stakes moments, such as the music festival shooting, everything went extremely well, to the point where characters were improvising with makeshift balloons for victims to breathe. It got to the point where I thought they were actually going to buy rubber chickens at a local store to save people.

It probably wasn't literal, but nothing is ever going to be more gay and low quality than the nigger faggot taking off his shirt and playing pretend he just gave birth to the baby while taking pictures, the fact that the actual mother shortly after being witness to that starts bleeding out buckets and dying from hemorrhagic shock was coincidentally funny. The tranny hijacking the show for several minutes to go on babbling about some wine bullshit in an effort to portray troons as normal is up there too. As if not all of them are degenerate NEET sex pests IRL.

If anything, this show makes me want to start watching the House MD series. I've heard it's one of the few cases where it just gets better and better, to the point of peaking on a later season, and a good buildup is always a treat to watch.

Oh boy, another episode of 'All White people are evil retards and Santos is a cunt'

I thought this episode was going to be interesting.
Santos is completely unbearable. I don't understand why each damn series have to have such a poorly written annoying woman.
Also Santos is way more neurodivergent than that blonde girl, that is a perfect doctor.
Obviously irl a truly neurodivergent doctor would struggle in the pitt and she'd get fired quickly. Or she'd be hated by everyone like Santos..

Actually it's good. They showed that surrogacy is just a risky business, and trannies have no real life usage in contrast to normally gendered people. Also education in wine is a retarded education and waste of time..

not gonna sperg, but fuck no, House MD sucks, if you have a modicum of medical knowledge, it's cringe. Characters are flat.
