Ant-Man shrunk it and someone stuck it in their pocket.
So, I saw GOTG on TV the other day and a thought occurred...
Thanos sent Gamora and Nebula to Ronan to help get the power stone, so why are they still on Thanos's ship when the Avengers go back in time? Is that scene supposed to be right before they're sent?
That’s not exactly what he said but it’s clear that’s what he meant.I read that Tony Stark's last words were "Baba booey" can someone please confirm? Trying to decide if I should see this or not.
I'm curious about that too. Since Jaimie Alexander has her TV show she has scheduling conflicts. It looked like a love triangle was forming in The Dark World with Thor, Sif, and Jane but that never happened and then Jane and Thor just end their relationship in the third moviethe Girl Power shot wouldn't bother me if they actually went all the way and included every female fighter of the MCU.Sure, the TV characters can't be included, but what about Lady Sif?The Russos said she was snapped off-screen,so that means she was revived off-screen,but where the hell is she?Are they saving her up for Guardians 3?
Man,Thor's companions really got the shaft in the MCU(I mean, one of them was recast in Thor Dark World and most people didn't notice because that's how sidelined they were...).They all had nice chemistry in the first Thor movie but then were all sidelined after that...
the Girl Power shot wouldn't bother me if they actually went all the way and included every female fighter of the MCU.
Or explaining why Evil Gamora's there. Did Gamora just happen to see a bunch of women doing some kind of weird catwalk in the middle of a battlefield and decide to join in?
Ah, must've missed that. Good thing I'm going to go see it again.Yeah. Thanos briefly mentions that he's sending the two of them to keep an eye on Ronan just before Nebula glitches out.
Exactly my thoughts. Anyone who's at least somewhat familiar with the MCU knows there's a shitload of good female characters, so putting them all together seemed unnecessary and cringey. It felt so weird and pandering that I couldn't help but burst out laughingI agree. I rolled my eyes at the grrl power scene but it was more in a "I can't believe they were so blatant about it" kind of way. There's a shit ton of powerful women in the MCU, most of them with very good story archs and that scene felt out of place at worst. For me, at this point is just a production faux pas; like a badly placed Wilhelm scream or spotting some particularly gratuitous product placement.
Yeah, this is Gamora literally right before she betrayed Thanos in the normal timeline. She'd already been convinced by Good Nebula to join them, and by that point Gamora had already been iffy on Thanos to begin with, her introduction scene in this movie is Evil Nebula bowing before Thanos and Gamora giving him the ol "Fuck you" sneer so it's not like it took much to begin with.
I don’t understand why she was in this movie. I get that she’s going to be a big deal but her role was inconsequential and distracting. She should have just had an origin movie in phase 4 after they closed the book on the old avengers. Making her suddenly have just existed the whole time but never being seen or mentioned by anyone is just weird.clapped at some Captain Marvel moments
The problem is it’s females fighting instead of making babies and sandwiches.I really don't think it's that cringey of a moment
