If only he didn't win that $1,000 shopping spree at 12 years old, we could very possibly be seeing a successful Chris. Or maybe we'd never know he existed. I sometimes wonder if he'd be as massively entitled if he didn't win the contest, or more/less successful.

How do you fuck up making $1500 on a worthless item that you made years ago?

How do you spend $1500 in the period of one week and 50%+ is just more worthless shit?

How do you make $1500 on a worthless item, and then put yourself in the hole $1500?

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE THAT PEOPLE OUT THERE EXIST?

It certainly makes me wonder what's going to happen with the CWC Classic shirt...this thing's probably going to set in motion the events that destroy 14 Branchland Court.

That's why I doubt he can afford to pay for the cost of staying at his house all on his own Tugboat money. He'll have to move out.
I looked up federal guidelines for chris in 2016 and it says it is roughly 13000 a year. I read Chris makes about 1300 per month?
Meh, without Barb Chris would probably be a model tenant. He doesn't make a lot of noise and he's got a guaranteed income.
The sad thing about all this is Chris was probably completely capable of living comfortably in 14 BC between Barb's and his own eventual passing. The house was formerly paid off, he has his limited but comfortable income in a place with a low cost of living, and Chris could drive and not eat fast food all the time.
But he and Barb fucked it up. The house is a fire and health hazard. The mortgage company is supposedly calling them. And mold. They just had to have mold too.

Heh, oh no, I don't think she's a psychiatrist or anything. Just a therapist he saw for awhile. I don't think there's any qualifications necessary to call yourself a therapist.
You are correct. Therapist is not a licensed term, psychologist is. Anyone can be a therapist, so long as they aren't claiming to hold a doctorate degree and be licensed by the APA.

'm the source. She said "you deserve a vagina", verbatim if I remember correctly.
This sounds like something an actual trained psychologist would not say. Psychologists aren't meant to give you the answers, they're supposed to help you work through your shit and be able to ultimately affirm yourself and figure our own shit out. They especially should not be blowing smoke up your ass.
I don't even think a psychologist who specializes in gender dysphoria and trans issues would say this. But then again, I'm thinking about people who know what they're talking about- not some unlicensed hack.

So? Plenty of people do that. If they do, they go to jail. They aren't permanently deprived of all rights. This isn't Soviet Russia.

I can hardly say a ward of the state is "deprived of all rights" when it is compared to prisoners being beaten and raped in jail and they can't do much to either prevent or contest it. Not to mention most prisoners that go back into society have extreme difficulty finding stability and often times end back up in prison.

And yes, plenty of people do that and do go to jail, as well as autistic people doing that and going to jail. I think the point being missed here is if someone tries to contest he is unfit to take care of himself be it from asking SS for a re-evaluation or he commits another crime, there will always be a possibility (even if very very unlikely) of him becoming a ward of the state.

Also, are you saying being a prisoner doesn't make you some semblance a ward of the state in itself? Technically since they are covering the well-being (food, shelter, healthcare, etc.) it is kinda like being one.

Why are you so fixated on something which is such a remote possibility? Short of imprisonment, even under the worst case scenario Chris is extremely unlikely to end up with anything more intrusive than a financial nominee and a community case-worker.

Last bid on the shirt was $25,000, by the way.

Considering the amount of homeless people with severe and crippling mental illness, Chris doesnt even register, Chris isn't special and isn't a snowflake, nothing about him warrants the state taking any further interest in him.

It's sad to see someone so messed-up that solving all their financial problems would probably ruin their life even more.

Until he becomes a danger to himself and others. With Chris, thats only a matter of time. He's about due for a big meltdown- especially if Barb passes.

It's not that I'm necessarily fixated on it as more as interested to see the outcome. A hypothesis of the days after Barb. He could just as easily become homeless or find an apartment using his SS benefits. I'm hopeful he wont become one to be perfectly honest, but I'm mostly here to figure more possible avenues of his life rather than have any sort of wish of his downfall.

In the end I suppose it doesn't really matter any theories are cause no one can ever predict what sort of dumb shit he is gonna get himself into next anyway. Once that shirt falls through though I feel like we are in for a good time with Chris.

I think people wanting a meltdown are just wishing for a rerun of the GameStop incident. Chris has been pretty calm over the past few years, with the exception of tarding out in videos about Trump, he has done nothing that suggests he is heading for a breakdown. Chris will be sad when Barb dies, but he will also probably be relieved. There is a reason that Chris wants to dump Barb on Cole, she is a major drag on Chris, and he knows it.

Even if Chris had a complete and total breakdown, it would be unlikely to lead to anything other than community supervision and being offered more resources. Institutional and semi-institutional care is massively more expensive than community based care. If the state had either the will or the capacity to deal with everyone who functioned at Chris's level or lower, a massive part of the homelessness problem in Western countries would be solved.

It's pretty amusing to see the dichotomy between "Chris could work and there's no excuse for him not getting a job" and "Chris needs to be placed in a care facility involuntarily", though.

Okay, which of you stupid weens stole your dad's credit card and placed bids on this? #TYCED

:tomgirl::tugboat::tugboat::tugboat::epik:

Whether or not the buyer is serious, we all know Chris is simply going to drive himself straight into the red for almost exactly the same amount the shirt sells for, if it sells.

How messed up do you have to be to screw up a purchase of a worthless piece of shit you made over two decades ago, for four figures at that? I'm really asking...
