Heh, I guess from the fact that he's so chill about losing $1500 he hasn't told Barb yet...

Also, his ego never ceases to amaze me. A biohazard of a shirt is somehow worth thousands of times it's actual value purely by association with him? It's absolutely nuts.

Where does everyone get this "ward of the state" idea? We did away with that as a general concept decades ago for adults.

You have to be profoundly helpless to end up in that sort of situation (not Chris style of helpless). People like Chris can get some help if they want it but if they don't and they 'sink' it's homelessness or jail for them.

A lot of people who barely know of Chris over the years, think he's some insane exceptional person that maces people over the color of Sonic's arms, puts out videos of him shoving things up his ass, or fucking blow up dolls on camera, and believe that's what Chris is like ALL the time and needs ailing parents to take care of him while he works hard on the next thing to tard out to.

(Couldn't find a better site in just quick research but you'll get the idea)
Adult ward of state: http://legalbeagle.com/8716910-adult-ward-state.html

I don't think anyone is explicitly saying he will become one or if he qualifies, more so it's a possibility considering his poor judgement, living conditions and his "level of autism". I'm sure he'd get evaluated when Barb dies and who knows what they may say. It's possible, but probably not likely.

In Virginia someone- a real someone, not some anonymous internet caller- must petition the court to declare an individual incompetent. The court can then appoint a guardianship or conservator as a last resort for someone who is 'incapacitated' (which could include financial issues). Maybe Rocky or someone else local might do that with Chris, I don't know. But based on the county's responses so far I don't think we have any reason to think Social Services are monitoring things in a way that would lead to them automatically evaluate Chris upon Barb's death as he is evidently not anyone's ward (based on his court appearances). As I said, while I don't have experience with local services in VA, what I have seen in general is that it is very unusual for the government to step in and declare someone to be their ward (and thus take responsibility for them) unless the situation is dire. Plenty of people with mental illnesses end up on the street or in jail instead, for better or worse.

I'll note the following guideline for Virginia involuntary guardianship as it seems apt: "Incapacitation should not be confused with poor judgment or foolishness."

When I say poor judgement I mean his inability to hold in aggression. In recent history he has calmed down a lot but he could very well make a turn for the worst and point aggression out again in public.

And the evaluation would probably be him trying to get more SS (if he thinks he'll get anymore, which more than likely he wont), not someone calling him out for being incapacitated. Again, people are not saying he is a confirmed ward of his mother due to his legal responsibility for his actions in the past, but it's possible that in some sort of horrible alignment of stars occur and if any sort of evaluation leads someone to inquire further he could indeed become a ward of the state if they think he is THAT incapable. Probably not, but I've seen people get more for a lot less.

I'm pretty sure Bob said in a Julie chat that he had over 20,000 lp's and records from various Genres and cultures. Why can't Chris just sell those for $1 each for the $ 20k? Chris even said they survived the fire in the rental house audio.

This is just a general question Marvin but are you surprised that Chris never bothered to ship the Totem and at how poorly he allocated the money? I get Chris is an idiot with autism but he's been shrewd and cautious with money in the past, whereas this seems so greedy and irresponsible. I'm just curious if you're as baffled by the situation as I am because this was ridiculously dumb.
Oh yeah, this is a strange turn of events. At the very least, I think the one-two punch of having what's-his-name (I forget) text Chris and offer to buy the totem for $1k, and then Chris actually managing to sell it for $1.5k, right after another, gave him some overconfidence. He probably treated it like a normal ebay sale at that point.

With a normal ebay sale, it's OK to be a little late sometimes. You can say "oh, sorry, I was waiting for a check, but I got it and I just sent it out, here's the tracking number." And that's OK normally. But it's probably not safe to do that when your audience consists primarily of people trying to fuck with you. Chris still doesn't (and probably never will) understand why he receives the attention he does, and it'll fuck up everything he does.

Like how he's selling that stamp album for $500 or why he bought $700+ of the skylanders bullshit.

Chris is overconfident about the value of the skylanders tshirts. Also, Chris and Barb probably label some bills as a priority, compared to other bills which they can delay paying for awhile. So Chris paid off the important bills, and invested the rest of the money into a lucrative business opportunity. :tomgirl:
I'm not sure that Rocky is going to be the next Barb. As in, letting Chris move in with her.

IMO, a lot of the stuff she did (like the Robert Bell referral) may have had more to do with her respect/pity for Barb (since she was only recently widowed at the time when the Snyder incident happened) than for Chris. Rocky wasn't around when Chris had to contend with the pepper spray trial.
Rocky drove over to mcdonalds one time to film Chris' half melted lego school once. Chris called her up on a whim.
Only Chris really thinks he is trans, to most people he is a large balding man with seaweed hair and a funny voice.
I don't know, he's convinced his therapist that he's genuinely trans.

He just needed someone to film his lego video.
That stupid bitch is the one who filmed that? I always assumed it was Barb. That just goes to show that Rocky is indeed basically a troll herself, because if she had a lick of sense she would have told him something along the lines of "Christian, you probably should stop playing with toys, you're over 30 years old now, it's time to put the toys away and be an adult."

But instead, she drives over to McDonalds to film the fat autist playing with his fucking toys. Jesus Christ...

True. But there IS a wide difference between a "Sure, I'll do you a small favor" friend and "Sure, come move in to my place and use my stuff" friend.

Well, we only have Chris' word on that, and it has as much merit as Phil's claim that his mother now supports his trans Latinax garbage. Just because the therapist didn't slap Chris across the face and yell "NO! YOU'RE A BRUTE MALE, YOU FAGGOT! MALE!" doesn't mean the therapist embraces his creepy lesbian soul shit.

Not what I mean. SSI (supplemental social security) is if Chris is below poverty line from just his tugboat alone will qualify for it,it piggybacks SSDI (social security disability insurance) if Chris does not make enough by Virginia income guidelines also consider food stamps and the like. He I am sure not pay the mortgage because of his squandering but he could essentially get more aide for himself. They take into account what he makes already plus bills he has to pay out etc. Not saying he will get it but he could in theory. I looked up federal guidelines for chris in 2016 and it says it is roughly 13000 a year. I read Chris makes about 1300 per month?

Chris gets his original Tugboat amount, plus half of what Bob was getting from Soc. Sec. added on as a "Survivors Benefit". He only gets that from one parent and he won't be getting half of Barb's tugboat added on later. What he gets now is the maximum he's going to get, plus the occasional COLA increase. The Soc. Sec. Administration isn't going to give him more than the legal amount just because Chris has large bills to pay.

She obviously isn't going to let Chris move in with her. She'll help him contact the authorities and file the necessary paperwork to get poor people benefits, and help him find an apartment and whatever else he'll need.

Well to start with, you're saying Chris' lesbian soul stuff is creepy. While it is indeed creepy, that's a separate issue from whether or not Chris has legitimate gender issues. Being gross makes you less sympathetic, not less diagnosable.

But regardless, no, we don't actually have Chris' word on this. Chris didn't say anything about this.

The therapist told Chris he's a real woman and that he deserves a vagina. I think she's a ridiculous ass-kisser, but still.
