I find it curious that Phil's been making all these claims about how we're going to invade his home for... some reason, and so he needs a massive arsenal of mall ninja weaponry to fight us off, yet at no point has either he or Slingblade considered telling the police. Meanwhile, the lesser issue of Phil getting blocked from one of his many social media accounts apparently does necessitate whistling up the pigs and Toren finally taking an interest.
Some cynics might suggest that this is because Slingblade doesn't actually give a shit about Phil as long as he can continue to live rent-free at Spud Towers, and is quite happy to let Phil lie on the couch all night, fantasising about Kiwi rape gangs. The same cynics might go on to suggest that a threat to Phil's social media is a threat to his income, which in turn threatens Slingblade, and that is why he's decided that we must be stopped at all costs.
