I'm pretty sure that if you check the 2022-2023 streams, Phil was in top shape, definitely not overweight, not having any money issues, eating healthy and the happiest he's ever been.

That's one of my favourite things about Phil, even if you're somehow part of the target audience for his demented brand of content, the quality is absolutely abysmal. All he has to do is watch a TCG pack-opening channel and emulate their setup, but we all know that Phil is physically incapable of obtaining information not spoon-fed to him by chat, so we're stuck with what his gin-addled brain has decided pack-opening looks like. Even the setup he does have, I'd guess it's taken him 10 hours+ to get right.

Phil moved to attempt a more seated-style position on his hallway ottoman, only to hear a sound that was like the ATM machine during a withdrawal: The crinkling sound of trading card wrappers.
His movement was instantaneous - The idea was out of sight as the pigroach clumsily groped in the dark. He couldn't believe it! He thought he had opened all of the latest day-off packs already! Truly, his luck was finally turning-!
No. Just another empty wrapper. Phil let out an exasperated sigh. It was so stupid, the Pokemon cards should just appear when their king needs a fix but no, the world was an unjust place, where daggers and recording devices hid in every shadow to trace his every move. He'll just have to order more tomorrow before he goes on stream. Now, what was that thing that had driven him from his alcoholic stupor featuring Andy Warski and Dalaun Sparrow? Oh, right. the idea that would SAVE THE BUSINESS. Surely it was a winner he could use to pull the detractors in with. It came to him again as he focused:

Perfect. A card-display camera. It was so simple. It was so obvious! How had he not thought of it before!? All Phil would have to do is fleece his viewers for yet ANOTHER piece of cutting-edge technology he could plug into the rat's nest that was his office's electrical outlet, pointed at a deliberate spot he could display the newest, greatest card to unpack. All he needed to do was ask for a humble contribution of five hundred dollars, and he'd be able to purchase a camera that could do just that in glorious high fidelity. It was a fantastic premise. It was perfect. It would SAVE THE BUSINESS. And anyone who thought otherwise was a trollish detractor. He would place the order the moment he woke up tomorrow at 11:15 AM sharp...ish. For now, it would suffice to waddle onwards down that perilous, mildew-smelling hall, past his momwife's room to his own private bedroom, and to relax in the quiet contemplation that he, DarkSydePhil, the most hated man on the internet, had finally won.

Even the setup he does have, I'd guess it's taken him 10 hours+ to get right.

Keep in mind he had Darziak giving him step by step guides multiple times. It's fair to assume it took him more than 1 day to set it all up. While having guides spoon-fed to him by a dragon freak.

With him gone, it looks like Phail replaced him with AI, the quality of his streams will keep going down.

As has been pointed out more than once on this very board I'm sure, it is absolutely no coincidence that the woman Phil married is an obviously deeply autistic and deeply troubled one with no family or friends to serve as a support system (an upgrade over his previous attempt, where all he could do was try to get Panda as far away as possible from HER support system), with no prospects of her own, and one who was desperate for a new place to go. And it is also no coincidence that he put a ring on her as fast as possible so she wouldn't have a chance to get a fuller measure of just what a miserable prick he really is.

Phil may not be a predator in the sense that many creeps documented on this website are, but his behavior toward Kat is no less a kind of predation. And I do not think Phil has it in him to strike a woman, but I also have no doubt he is no less a kind of abuser, of the emotional and mental kind.

1) Phil was never a catch, which leaves only very naive (Leanna) or equally unappealing (Kat) women willing to put up with him for extended periods.

ETA: Even in the early 2010s, when he was making $$$, he did not understand how to handle a trophy girlfriend (read: never stop flexing and always let her have spending money, not just a hobbyist soap shop). That would have limited his prospects, even without the declining income or move to a pricey metro.

2) Dysfunction in the relationship with Kat was never a one-way street, by all appearances she has no feelings for him and gets free room + board for putting up with him a few hours / week. Being rude and inconsiderate to a roommate is not on the same level as what you are describing, especially when she is not pulling her weight on finances/housework. If she is as checked out as she seems he'd need to cross another line (shouting at her, keeping her from sleeping, etc.) to qualify as abusive.

It's also funny to remember that soon after Leanna got exposed to non-Phil humans more, she was out. That's why I love making fun of his fat cunt of a wife. She's either too stupid/retarded to listen to advice from others or so much of a cunty bitch that she has no friends either. She's essentially been working & living with Phil for 7 years and is still there (probably). She's pushing late 30s and is a retard. She somehow has almost as little qualifications for a real job as Phil (no college degree, no skills, no hobbies, is likely fat as fuck so can't do anything physical, and is also retarded so can't even be a secretary).

The best part of the Phil/Kat relationship is that they both catfished each other.

Kat sent Phil some purposely angled pics that white chicks do when they need to make it look like they have tits or an ass, but also aren't chubby. And on top of that, she convinced Phil through a few visits that she was mom wife/maid material. Meanwhile, she can't cook anything that isn't frozen and gained 200 lbs from takeout because she has no initiative to not be a fat fuck.

On the other end, Phil convinced Kat that he was a sussessful streamer making 6 figures and that she could live out all her dreams of doing gamer stuff with a man that didn't hit her (allegedly). Maybe she even realized she'd never have to even touch his dick too. But turns out that Phil is just as retarded as her and only LARPs as an adult, so you're living in a nice house that likely hasn't had meaningful repairs in a decade and is rotting away slowly, just like Phil. You also are shacked up with a shut-in retard who is afraid of his shadow and thinks an hour drive is a long trip.

Two absolutely dreadful people that deserve each other, not to mention will never procreate so even better!
