Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

I might get some shit for saying this but historically, especially within the past 2 decades, there have been more acts of politically motivated far-right violence than that of politically motivated far-left violence. It's what makes the Kirk situation so gay to me, these people are silent on alt-right accelerationist groups that lead to shit like the san diego mosque shooting, but the moment a milquetoast political commentator gets killed or a political dissident lets off shots near the white house we need to start rounding up lefties and repeal freedom of speech.
It was kind of insane the way people wouldn't accept that right wing violence had occurred in the past AT ALL. It was the most frustrating thing about the kirk thread. Saying anything other than the left are all insane violent psychopaths who are going to kill us all, and the right dindu nuffin. Meant you were "both sides"ing.

They did have one point that I do think is valid. There was some fairly obvious number fudging to try painting the right in a worse light than the left. Like counting violence that happens within prions (like white prison gangs) as "far right extremist violence", and other underhanded methods to make it seem like the countries biggest threat was far right extremist violence. When really the threat of that is pretty minor all things considered. It also was part of the reason they justified such heavy censorship during Biden's admin (although the censorship went way beyond just censoring right wing rhetoric).

The extremists on the right do commit violence, sometimes and I would say increasingly so extremist leftists will also. If we just counted assaulting people I would think the left would have the right beat by far in the last 10 years. For shootings I would say it wasn't the case until fairly recently.

I saw the "leftists and liberals need to die" before I saw the grave dancing.
The grave dancing was by far the thing I saw most people actually angry about at the time. Some people who already thought that, were probably saying it right away. But most people were more bothered by the leftists that were celebrating some milquetoast conservative pundit being shot. There is a pretty big disconnect between both sides on this, I don't think people the left get the way people on the right saw that event. Judging by what I see people here saying at least. And I don't mean the political grifters, who were using his death after. I just mean the way normal right wing people saw the shooting, and then the celebration right when it happened.

Also something I want to bring up since I'm talking about this. I was pretty convinced at the time, people were trying to use his shooting to either cause some kind of more serious escalation, or the government was going to try to get some kind of unconstitutional crackdown passed while people were still upset about it (they did end up using that to designate antifa as a terrorist group, so I guess there is that, all things considered I can't say I'm too upset over that). Whatever people were trying to do, there was for sure a really heavy push from somewhere to take advantage of that, and make the left v right divide even more extreme.

Everything I've seen looking up about the algae situation says it's turning up again after expensive maintenance on the pool. Other people in this very thread have pointed out the way the water is stagnant and other factors like heat is what's causing this shit, which lines up with basic pool maintenance issues.
In the grand scheme of things, yes it's a pretty minor and petty thing that doesn't really impact anyone on any significant level.

But, for many here, it is emblematic of Trump's behaviour as POTUS. He spent weeks bragging about how he was going to do the best clean-up job, that every democrat POTUS was a failure and a national disgrace for having green water. He was going to do an amazing job, it would be perfect, he would restore this symbol of America to it's zenith, perhaps greater than it ever was before. Then he spends 10 million dollars, doesn't even attempt to give the façade of going through the proper channels, "happens" to give the job to someone he knows, they do half-assed job and within a week of it's completion its now in a worse state then its been before. Instead of going "my bad, we are going to do it properly" he accuses unseen libtard algae smuggler saboteurs and is arresting people for making jokes about how he failed to do something he has been bragging about for weeks.

That 10 million could have gone a long way to help a lot of people in significant ways. If Biden did something similar it would be far game to drag him through the mud for the exact same reasons.

edit: spelling correction

Thing is I've seen more examples of people in this thread just posting it and acting like it's an own that it's grimy rather than pointing out people simping for the reckless overspending during bad weather for said renovation/cleanup. No clue how it's been over in Virginia but like over here it's just been hot and humid or rainy and windy or some combo of the two the last two months making it horrible for any painting related projects . The algae not only returning but the paint peeling due to a mix of weather and possibly reaction to the cleaning supplies to clear the algae after it returned is some kafka ass shit.

The goalposts seem to have been shifted from trying to work out how things are about the thread topic to "eeerrrmm acksually chud migger the trump enslavement syndrome thread isn't about trump enslavement syndrome in the first place!!!" and then "eeerm uuhh actually you just don't have an open enough mind about what trump enslavement syndrome means" by the other people that have been responding to me. I'm glad someone else at least gets what I'm getting at in terms of the algae shituation lmao.

EDIT: And now you got people denying the charlie kirk gravedancing was immediate and was some kind of right wing delusion. jesus fucking christ the dude was a politics team grifter guy to begin with you don't gotta pull this garbage pussyfooting shit denying reality of people of shitposter and politisperg variety making comments about his death before the body was cold.

Actually this thread is about ethics in video games journalism

I have seen plenty of both. To be clear, it absolutely is an own. He bragged and bragged and bragged for weeks and weeks about how he was going to make the water crystal clear, blue and mirror-like and how Obamna and Bradon where retarded disgraces because they couldn't do what he was about to do. Lo and behold, it was worse than ever. The weather is not an excuse because many people in this thread and elsewhere pointed this out. If tards on the internet could have predicted it then for $10m there would have been plenty of professionals who would have been able to say the same thing if he had hired the right people.

I do think for the most part this thread is about TES but you can't discuss the reaction without discussing the event that people are reacting to. Yes there are derails but this is due to a few factors:

  1. Every thread derails. Nick Rekieta said something retarded about his version of "Christianity"? Well there's gonna be some derailment to talk about theology. Hambly gave a hot take about coffee or a piece of media? there's gonna be a debate about it. Ralph passed out again? There's going to be argument between medic kiwis about the effects of xannie and alcohol abuse. Trump said or did something retarded? people are going to discuss it and derail for a bit.
  2. This thread has very wide range of poltical views. it's a whole jumble of rightiods and leftiods of different types so they are going to disagree or bring different views that might make the derailment last a bit longer than normal. If you go onto the Ralph thread and say "Ralph is a retard" no one is going to say "I dunno I think he's actually very intelligent"
  3. The entire site is mostly pro-Trump. If you go on any of highlights that are about news or politics it's 99% pro-Trump. even some of the lolcow threads. People who come here might spreg on about a point a little more than usual because if they did anywhere else other than here or the trump lolcow thread they wouldn't get any real engagement and/or it would devolve into endless spiral of argument.
At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. Just zoom past all the discussions on Trump's actions and just laugh at the screenshots of boomers saying something insane on Facebook if that's what you are here for.
And now you got people denying the charlie kirk gravedancing was immediate and was some kind of right wing delusion.
I could be wrong but all I have seen is one post saying that in their experience they saw people say stuff "kill all libs" before they saw grave-dancing. One guy's experience != a statement on objective truth or the thread's view as a whole. Most of the posts I have seen are talking about the reactions to the grave-dancing not it didn't happen or it was delayed or that it was a right-wing delusion. Most that I have seen are drawing parallels to grifters on the right who grave-danced about many other deaths but suddenly were disgusted by the notion when it happened to someone on their "team"

The goalposts seem to have been shifted from trying to work out how things are about the thread topic to "eeerrrmm acksually chud migger the trump enslavement syndrome thread isn't about trump enslavement syndrome in the first place!!!
So do you want a second thread to be started, specifically for critical posts about Trump, and his followers that doesn't fit into your definition of TES? Do you want people to just not post about them in a way you think they should? What do you think should happen here?

Making a second, almost identical thread to separate criticism of Trump, and posts making fun of miggers saying " the leftists sabotaged the reflecting pool!" By the way how is that not TES? they are arguing leftists snuck algae in the pool so they wouldn't have to admit he wasted a shitload of money on a half-assed renovation for no reason. That's the whole reason people were talking about algae in this thread in the first place. seems completely pointless and it would just separate out conversation needlessly. Or if you just don't want to see people talk shit about Trump, have you tried not looking at this thread? Seems like a much easier solution than whining about it.

This was humiliation. No one in modern history has made America wait and beg for negotiations. This was the moment JD Vance should have returned to Washington. The Islamic regime did this on purpose. Trump, if you don't understand politics, you should at least understand protocol. The visuals from Switzerland:• The U.S. delegation entered well before the Iranians. In diplomacy, the side with leverage doesn't wait in the room. You claim to be leading and winning, yet you arrived first. First mistake.• Ghalibaf did not enter while the press was inside. JD Vance did. Another mistake. It looked as though you didn't just abandon allies, including Israel, you also diminished America's image by ignoring basic diplomatic protocol.• The Iranian foreign minister entered last and refused to shake hands. We didn't need photographs to tell us who looked confident and who looked desperate, but these images made it easy for the world to draw its own conclusions.
Amjad Taha on Xitter

I don't really want to post in that Iran thread which is full of strange people posting childish murder fantasies, so here will do, and anything Bowman the bumboy does is a character of enslavement to Trump. It does seem reasonable to say that Iran is taking great care to move matters along slowly. Trump threatening delegates prompts a walkout while Vance manages another unneeded show of weakness. Vance is uniquely unlikeable that Trump was probably okay with having Thiel's former bum boy as VP.

Man gotta love seeing it.

IMG_20260621_183059.jpg

I really hope the Iran deal somehow manages to survive Israels attempts to sabotage it. For one it's good for the country if we can get out of that disastrous war ASAP. But the part I'm really looking forward to is the continued response from ghouls like Adelson. He deserves every bit of hate he gets from them. He chose to sell out the country to the highest bidder, he chose to ignore our own National intelligence, and instead listen to a Jewish Manlet who has been openly lobbying america for this war for 20 years at least. He chose to burn his political capital on this retarded war, that we effectively lost. He chose this.

This nigger even tried pulling the "accidental" alien leak post thing like a week ago to see if people would take the bait and forget about the war and start talking about alien conspiracy theories. :lit: god damn, how do people take this guy seriously. It's honestly sad. This is what we've become. The country is politically torn in half, all over this orange nigger.

Well, I like the algae for two reasons.

1) Biomassmaxxing
As usual, WOKE Trump is doing climate change mitigation by the back door.
The killing of Charlie Kirk revealed to people that quite a few progressives and leftists are insane.
? How. Nigga, the only reason that most people who are aware of the term 'groyper' became aware of it was because of the only good thing 'groypers' did- which was going to Kirk's events and trolling him for his vile support for babyraping jews by mentioning the USS Liberty and other jewish crimes. There's nothing 'insane' about thinking it's funny that someone who was paid to shill for yids against the interests of White people (and other actual human beings) got merked. I mean I could identify millions of Americans and tens of millions worldwide who deserve to die more than Kirk did, but that doesn't mean it wasn't funny.

So I've been hearing that Trump wants to keep the arches that were set up for the UFC fight on the White House lawn. He's calling them the "Peace Arches" or some shit. Is this true? I'm asking here because in the other thread I'd just get called brown or something.

He actually wants to move them next to each other and paint them gold as the Ronald McDonald Monument.

Even the Trump-loving congressmen have to admit the MoU was not the Greatest Deal in the History of Deals in the World.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) is a big fan of Trump. So much so that he considers himself a "trusted MAGA warrior" lmao

The Carter ad touts him as a “trusted MAGA warrior” and leans fully into culture war issues, including a championing of bans on trans people from girls sports and serving as a staunch ally of President Donald Trump on illegal border crossings. The ad also splices remarks from Trump from a campaign rally in September 2024 in Savannah, where the then-presidential candidate said “Buddy Carter…warrior…great guy.”

But, even this amazing warrior has to admit the US and Iran MoU isn't perfect.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) on Sunday acknowledged that there were concessions in the Iran deal as critics continue to raise concerns with the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed last week.
“There are a lot of concessions, but let’s keep in mind that this is a work in progress. And keep in mind that this memorandum of understanding is laced with performance enhancements. And it depends on what Iran does,” Carter said during an appearance on NewsNation’s “The Hill Sunday.”

“It is performance-laden. And that means that if they perform, if they go through, if they follow through on their responsibilities, then they’ll be rewarded for it,” he added.
A lot of concessions, he says. That's just a bit different from the Total US Victory MIGA has claimed for months. Why would the world's strongest military need to make concessions to Iran if Iran were completely destroyed and had already surrendered?

Negotiations aren't going too well for the US either.

Iran is attempting to use the sequencing of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding’s (MoU) clauses to make the United States meet Iranian demands regarding Lebanon and economic relief before Iran agrees to discuss nuclear issues.
Iran and the United States held quadrilateral talks with Qatari and Pakistani mediators in Burgenstock, Switzerland, on June 21. Iranian officials and media emphasized that the June 21 talks only focused on pushing the United States to implement MoU clauses that the MoU states must be implemented before nuclear negotiations can begin.
Iran is using the first clause of the MoU, which calls for a ceasefire on all fronts, to try to compel the United States to pressure Israel to cease operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon and withdraw its forces from Lebanese territory. Iran’s interpretation of this clause is part of its broader effort to preserve Hezbollah as a central element of Iran’s deterrence strategy against Israel.
Iran is delaying the nuclear talks since the US has failed to ensure its allies in the war cease all military operations. Shouldn't have made agreements you can't keep.
The report elaborates with this little gem
Iranian officials have interpreted the first clause of the MoU as requiring both a halt to Israeli operations against Hezbollah and an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.[11] This interpretation creates a win-win situation for the regime: if the United States agrees to Iran’s interpretation and compels Israel to withdraw its forces from Lebanon, this would represent a strategic victory for Iran and Hezbollah. If, on the other hand, the United States does not accept Iran’s interpretation of this clause, Iran can continue to postpone nuclear negotiations by claiming that the United States is violating the MoU.
A "win-win" scenario for Iran isn't quite what MIGA was expecting, was it?

Iran is also attempting to frontload economic benefits from the MoU before addressing its nuclear file in negotiations. Iran likely seeks to acquire funds up front in case negotiations collapse and likely also seeks to reduce US leverage in later nuclear talks in order to make it more difficult for the United States to extract concessions from Iran.
Iran is using its announced closure of the Strait of Hormuz to increase economic pressure on the United States as part of its effort to push the United States to compel Israel to halt operations against Hezbollah and withdraw from Lebanon.
Nothing about this part is beneficial to the US. Giving Iran money or funding in any way doesn't help the American people, and neither does allowing Iran to control the Strait. Pure loss for the US, but MIGA will somehow claim this is a win.

Let's not forget what the nuclear issue part of the MoU says either
The Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms that it shall not procure or develop nuclear weapons. The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to resolve the disposition of stockpiled enriched material, pursuant to a mechanism that will be mutually agreed upon in accordance with the schedule mentioned in paragraph seven, with the minimum methodology to be downblending on site under the supervision of the IAEA. The two parties also agreed to discuss the issue of enrichment and other mutually agreed matters related to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear needs based on a satisfactory framework being agreed upon in the final deal. The final deal will confirm the provisions of this paragraph.
If the US violates or fails to implement the MoU, then Iran doesn't have to agree to the clause to "not procure or develop nuclear weapons." If that happens, then the entire war (which Trump and MIGA claims was to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons) was literally for nothing.

I wondered at first if his account was just satire and shitposting, especially calling yourself "Cults Kill," while posting that, but he seems to be a genuine account. The frog guy is kind of cringe, but I can't imagine fantasizing about them being killed for shitposting about a pool. :story:

It really does feel like only the most deranged people on all sides are actively using Twitter/X at this point. Guys like this could be your contractor, your kids teacher, and you'd have no idea.

My favorite subgenre of Israeli tweet is when they wish America gets another 9/11, totally normal thing to say that won't make you fucks look suspicious if an attack like that does happen

Literally worse than Hasanabi Piker. But did he shock his dog?

Felt the similarly about Floyd back in the day, people mocking his death on social media should have been prepared for a kick in the teeth, but I was really disturbed by how a dead man was ineptly idolized for an agenda. Shit, the minimal mainstream pushback on that is what got me into the budding MAGA-conservative media sphere before I saw that they were all grifting faggots.
Floyd's an imperfect man (a subhuman rapeape, really) that was unjustly killed, it epitomised police brutality, even though statistically, the cops are no more or less likely to do that to any race of alleged criminal. His death was hijacked for political grift and certain fat niggress' mansions.
Kirk was an imperfect man, likely a closeted homosexual, who said batshit insane rubbish regarding guns, and went around campuses to pelt sheltered kids with gay loaded questions as cheap gotchas. When those don't work, he does his typical lame "what about this". His assassination epitomised rising political violence and the glorification of such.
It's been a trend since dipshits were justifying Luigi Mangionne's murder of a CEO. Countless people on both sides displayed their bloodlust, which was justified in their minds because the victim is a dipshit CEO of a broken shitty system, in the only so called developed country without universal healthcare. Neither side cared to address the core issue. Well, the left at least tried but couldn't hide their disdain for a man they don't know either.
It's really that simple.
Making fun of them and their death is my God given fucking right. It's called free speech, and speech doesn't become illegal when gay frog/bash-the-fash-dude avatar feelings are hurt.

Everything I've seen looking up about the algae situation says it's turning up again after expensive maintenance on the pool. Other people in this very thread have pointed out the way the water is stagnant and other factors like heat is what's causing this shit, which lines up with basic pool maintenance issues.
There was no maintenance. He spent over $10 million to paint it blue. He gave the contract to his crony. Anyone with a basic understanding in science would have seen this coming.
I spelt it out for you in the simplest terms possible, mate. It doesn't line up with anything but a fat nonce wasting money. He could have done literally nothing and saved over $10 million. How much money did "DOGE" save again? Talk about fiscal conservatism. What's conservative about this current administration?
He had over $10 million of taxpayer money. He could have done something to alleviate the algae blooms, like add in circulation. Are you denser than the biofilm in that swamp, circa now? Or is public money a waste only if it goes to statues of Nigger Floyd and painting roads with pride flags? (Which in my opinion is a waste of money, I want parks and potholes sealed, not gross environmentally bad paint on roads and waste of mental statues of rape apes.)
He spent over $10 million of American's money to make the algae issues worse. You think it's just normal pond maintenance. C'mon dude. Maybe that's why your definition of TES is so autistically narrow.
wasn't about what it's literally titled as being about. Don't pull this shit.
That's not what I wrote.

i don't think it got posted here but they took his name off the kennedy center last week

It was mentioned a few times. They even put a canvas over it so people wouldn't film the takedown and gloat about it.
He's the biggest paedophilic man child president ever.

Everything I've looked at says it was having an algae problem a little before this and that it came back worse after they cleaned it out and repainted it blue. that and the trump people people making wackjob claims about vandals being responsible for the green shit coming back. I don't get how you don't count the paint and algae cleaning as maintenance. It's a shit fucking job and there's weird money shit happening, but poor maintenance is still poor maintenance.

EDIT: I should also point out this literally isn't event he first time the algae issue shit has happened with the reflecting pool. You can find articles from several decades back about algae issues. Instead of textwalling about the maga people painting the pool and sperging out you could easily have just been laughing at how basic fucking algae shit became overcomplicated due to the combo of the paint and the algae.
