The DS3 Repair description is clear: light is time. The First Flame is what brought light, thus it is what brought time. Yes, everything was eternal, but it was so in an unchanging manner because the concept of time, which changes things, did not exist.
DS1 Japanese descriptions at least for other Oolacilian sorceries also make it abundantly clear. I think repair powder did as well but it wasn't as apparent as DS3

Fog is also the in between of existence and nonexistence.

DS is just a story about cycles and a king that cant let go, the world was an everlasting heaven with chud dragons where nothing ever happened until the flame came and created concepts such as dead and life, with the first 4 gods representing basic aspects and duality of the flame (gwyn the light, izalith life and the pigmy the dark and nito death) when gwyn artificially fucked over the flame he corrupted the natural order and made the world a mess, not only did it made people unable to die but it also corrupted aspects of the flame with chaos being a corrupted version of life and the abyss being a corrupted version of death and the worst aspects of humanity.

The moral of the story is literally do nothing and not fuck with the natural order and let it follow its course wich is a very buddhist eastern phylosophy way of thinking, but as we know this never happens because even if we dont light it up someone will once again restarting this whole drama wich is what ds3 is with people just giving up on the whole keeping the stagnant age of fire alive and being whipped into compliance with both chaos and the abyss becoming increasingly more dangerous.

This is not the moral, the games never morally condemn Gwyn, his actions are, by all accounts, Just, it resulted in the continuation of humanity, all the negatives that came from it, would have excerbated and happened sooner, the game is about screaming into the void, the darkness, the abyss, raging against the dying of the light, and how sometimes, it just isn't enough, there's no way to continue it forever.

With the special caveat that with the painting made with the Blood of the Dark Soul, a true new world can be made, free of this entropy, at the cost of a heroic, mad quest from Gael, the inverse of Gwyn, who did most of what he did for selfish reasons, Gael is selfless, Gwyn is a king, Gael is, still, even with his slave holders and the kingdom of them being dead, a Slave, Gwyn controlled his family, Gael does everything for his Lady, and so from him, better results are attained.

At first I was annoyed that we never got a final word on Gwynevere or Priscilla's fate, but these days I'm happy with it. "And then they died" is literally the only way From knows how to write stories now so I'm glad they were spared that.

Stopped reading here. You just ran through the greatest hits of redditlore aka shit tier fanfiction that outright ignores the story the games are telling.

Redditorlore is allergic to even pretending to care about the plot of the game and just repeats the most retarded takes that gets the most updoots. It fucks up the most basic characteristics of basically everything, like the world becoming fucked up "because the flame has gone on too long" or Gwyn le bad. Sth sth two nobodies fighting over nothing at le end of za warudo. (Which is pure soy nonsense).

The world is fucked up because the First Flame is weak, because it literally powers everything like the sun, time itself and human mortality. Hence when it becomes weak, people start turning into hollows, time becomes "conveluted" and it eventually leads to literally all of civilization collapsing into one pile of shit as the flame dies. Linking the fire is literally staving off the apocalpyse, the person who "links" the fire literally just becomes firewood to keep the flame alive.

You might notice this is at complete odds with your redditlore, and yeah, congrats. You've finally read a basic description of the story as it is in the game, and not some retarded redditnigger's fanfiction.

Gwynevere became the Queen of Lothric and later Rosaria while Priscilla is dead af lol.

The hollowing happened after Gwyn linked the flame, is not a direct cause of the flame dying, also watch out for those cortisol levels.

I am seething because my cortisol spiked after my redditlore was insulted.
Skill issue, lilbro. Sorry reddit never told you the plot of the game.

See this is what I mean. Redditor doesn't know that the whole undead shit happens because the first flame makes people mortal through the ring of fire put on every human. When they die it burns away their humanity. But when the fire is weak? It can't burn away the humanity properly so they become undead.

This is the basic premise of the story. He doesn't even know it because reddit told him nonsense. Wait till he finds out that something literally called the dark age, is in fact, bad.

Hollowing is the natural return to Undead status, which all humans were before the flame, once they lose purpose, they lose the ability to be anything but proto-men, the Undead, beings that are neither living, or dead.

hollowing only happens when the flame begins to fade, not after he linked the flame, it happened many years later, once it began to die again, then people who recently died came back as Undead, that's you, in every game, except DS3, you are double dead, an undead who failed to link the flame and became ash, and was brought back once more.

I see, that makes more sense, i always assumed the darksign appeared after Gwyn light up the flame turning everything hollow as they where unable to die. My bad i was wrong.

Lokey pretty much believes in Gwyn le bad. I think Gwyn is malevolent for sure but idk if he's any worse than the other gods.

Última edición:
Lokey thinks Aldrich, as a sludge man, rapes Rosaria and eats the rape babies.
On what fucking basis? I don't remember rape, much less rape babies, ever being brought up once in the whole series.

---

Gwyn is not malevolent. See, what everyone's gotta remember is that redditors and youtubers (but I repeat myself) are by and large Fuck You Dad atheists. So they don't understand that Gwyn is actually the good guy. They get mad that the flame brings "disparity" because that's not heckin' wholesome socialist equality.

So they have to twist themselves into pretzels to deliberately not understand that life and virtually everything that makes life worth living comes from the First Flame. That before it, the world was basically a sort of quiet, stagnant whatever.

They refuse to realize that the Age of Dark would be returning to that quiet, stagnant whatever, because that would mean that humanity is le bad. They insist the corruption and stagnation are from prolonging the First Flame in and of itself, and not simply from the world inching closer to something resembling the pre-Flame age.

It's exceptionally funny in this case because in redditors' beloved animus or whatever it's usually some god who is wrong for trying to bring stagnation/perfect undifferentiated order. Only now that this time it's some human-shaped meatsacks trying to do it it's suddenly okay.

Gwyn isn't the villain alot of youtubers woud lead you to believe, he is however, Selfish, he wants his world to continue existing because he claimed it, even if it costs him his mind, his body and his soul.

This is selfish sure, but its still good, he does ALOT of pretty bad shit for the express purpose of keeping the world going, and he has such conviction to keeping the world going he burned himself alive.

How is this villainous? the man died for it, all the people saying he's bad always just leap over this incredibly important part.. he didn't make anyone else do it, he got in the Kiln and burned himself, as the first one, as testament for his ideals.

Dark souls entire philosophy is based on Eastern mysticism. It's why the retarded takes about dark souls "Feminist and Woke" make zero sense, and are just leftists cherry-picking data without context to fit their narrative (and alot of the cherry picks only make sense if you subscribe to their retarded world view in the first place).

Lokey thinks Aldrich, as a sludge man, rapes Rosaria and eats the rape babies.
Maybe for cut fucking content but even that has no correlation, and it's just killable babies being toned down for ethics committees or because Zaki wanted more restraint.

Best thing to trust is ourselves these days.

purpose of keeping the world going
That's the thing though. Especially in III I wouldn't want to live in any age there. Maybe it should return to stone. Maybe IT WILL, inevitably. Then birth a new world somehow, some way ((Elden Ring)). But thats just retarded theories based around the painter.

On what fucking basis? I don't remember rape, much less rape babies, ever being brought up once in the whole series.
That's okay, in Abyssal Archive, renowned for being the best book on ds1 lore and shit, has Lokey indicate that Seath fucked Gwyn's absent wife or was it Gwynevere??? and had Priscilla, and that's why she was locked in the painted world or some shit.

He goes a step further and also indicates Gwyn or someone, may use Priscilla for personal sexual pleasure in secret to explain why there's guards in the painted world or some shit. It's been a year since I read it. Baffling retardation.

I think the whole topic of ‘what the main theme of the games are’ is an important one, sure. But I think the more important question is; is it gay to fuck gwyndolin?
Yes. It's very fucking gay, and if you have to ask, you are gay.

oh well, the worlds pretty dicey now, you could just kill yourself right now and be done with it.
the rest of humanity will crawl through the mud and rage against the dying of the light, you can go do a flip, the rest of us are getting the Dark Soul for our Lady.

Horace the hushed is described as one of Aldrich's children. Therefore he needs to have a mom or sth so it's Rosaria and Aldrich raped her. Aldrich also ate his own children therefore he rapes Rosaria for the sole purpose of having a tasty snack regularly.

You might notice there were several leaps in logic made by said individual.

Yeah, that's the other rape fantasy of Lokey's that reads like he fried his brain watching too much hentai.

I'm saying that Lokey gets stuff wrong and in some cases bafflingly wrong. This rape fetish shit is one of them.

And there's basic shit he just flatout ignores in favor of this nonsense, like Rosaria being Gwynevere. The Leonhard side quest is about as in your face as it can be about it without literally having text that says "Rosaria is Gwynevere". Lokey is a loregrifter like JSF. Time will tell if he troons out too.

Playing Bloodborne for the first time, just beat Amelia and the witch in charnel lane.

Any spoiler free advice on mandatory stuff to do as I play the rest of the game? I don't care about missing gear or weapons but I don't want to miss out on content by not interacting with some hidden obscure NPC or something.
