Phil joked about Jesus being a zombie on Easter. The dent bros being devote Christians found the joke offensive, causing them to break pignosis.
Phil said Jesus rising from the dead at easter made him a zombie and they are religious, they wanted him to apologise and you can imagine how that went
According to Phil, the Dutch Brothers used to be such an awesome source of positivity in chat and with care packages. However, the two are allegedly very religious. Phil made a joke about how Jesus rising from the dead made him a zombie of some sort. The brothers took offense to Phil's humor and basically disowned DSP, going so far as to appear on some detractor podcast, which is an even bigger sin in the cult of the pigroach than committing blasphemy towards another deity.
Remember when this article came out putting DSP as Number 1 for having the most generous fans in comparism to his subs? He downplayed hard "My income is always public" "I am small potatos now!" It seemed as if he was very afraid of getting his gig blown up

The best part is the fall out was 100% ego driven. He could have easily diffused the situation by just apologizing. Thats all the dutch brothers asked for and there was a good chance they would have gone back to whaleing if DSP just said sorry.
I think Phil sees an apology as the ultimate submission or something, considering the emails and how he treats chat.
The only times I've heard him apologize for anything, it was for some very small mistake he did, and when he does say sorry he always exaggerates it as if he was making a joke.
DSP was actually close to a breakthrough. He complained about the Dutch Bros. dumping him and said "maybe that's it", referring to the downturn in tips. Didn't seal the deal on that revelation though.
The closest he got was that recent time he misread some random dents message to him and interpreted it as a troll message, when the chatter was talking about other streamers. DSP went total narc in the apology he knew he had to do and basically did both the victim segment shit while acting like a total douchebag narcisistc with his 'apology'. This fucking retard would have been way better in life if Jaha had beaten the shit out of him, and even better if he got the shit beaten out of him in high school.
