"And, before people saying something really fucking stupid..."
You mean, like you just did in what's essentially your view that you're entitled to other people's money, Phil? How no one has thrown a brick at his face at this point is amazing.

i hate this shithead so much. the end of his "career" cant come soon enough.
i like how he doesnt think donating money to him is "frivolous". NIGGER THATS THE EXACT DEFINITION OF FRIVOLOUS, YOU'RE WORTH NOTHING, YOUR STREAMS ARE WORTH NOTHING, YOU PROVIDE NO VALUE TO ANYTHING OR ANYONE

If you notice too Phil rarely ever says the word "sorry" which is more personal and from the heart. The fact is he couldn't even muster ether a "sorry" or an apology is telling. By the way he was talking about the care packages too it shows his entitlement, people are objects to him to be used until they are useless.
He says sorry a lot. Sure, it's when he's being sarcastic or using it as a way to make himself a victim such as: "I'm sorry I got sick" or "I'm sorry we had a slow stream today" and my favorite "I'm sorry you feel that way but [something about being an adult and you're an idiot]".
He's been taking every opportunity with this stream to whine and beg. It's actually really fuckin' bad and I'm going PoP mode.
Never go full PoP.

DSP has a loser's mentality (hence "you're still on Mission 1").

He shoots down every fan suggestion and then wonders why fans are more and more stingy with donations. "I'm a small guy! I can't do that! I'm not MoistCr1TiKaL or Maximilian Dood!" Right, and purposely doing the opposite of what successful streamers do is a winning strategy. The best way to grow as a streamer is to aim beyond where you are.

Since DSP loves restaurant analogies so much; this is McDonald's original menu from 1940:
sgweg.jpg

It's very limited, but also classic. Cheeseburger, fries and a beverage. Can't go wrong. It's the basics and it's fundamentally what someone wants from a burger joint. But what happens when this is all that's available for years and years? What if other burger joints open up and offer even just slightly more variety? What if McDonald's cooking equipment stagnates as other places upgrade?

DSP's formula of immediately playing brand new games is, on paper, a fundamentally sound method. But that alone only worked when the competition was tiny/nonexistent. Now in 2023 he is unironically literally a decade or more behind his competition. His commentary isn't entertaining or insightful. His gameplay exists somewhere between total trash (which only entertains non-donating haters) and just competent enough to complete the game. His tech is dogshit. His PC is almost older than Derich.

What do you get for supporting him? Fuck all. Someone in the suggestion box said he should go play some local Street Fighter matches and have some offline lag-free fun etc. Of course he shot this down because "DOOD I CAN'T TRAVEL THE COUNTRY BEING THE BEST I'LL HAVE NO TIME WITH MUH FAMILY!" Delusional retard. But this would actually be a cool idea for a membership goal. Hit the membership goal and DSP vlogs a local Street Fighter tournie. Another goal idea would be doing a Cooking With The King stream. But nope, he just prefers to give supporters fuck all in return for them carrying his lazy ass through life. Astounding shit.

DSP is that struggling non-franchise eatery that refuses to do anything that might bring in more customers. He'll just keep "curating" to an ever-shrinking fanbase.

Down to 399 members, and now he's desperate to speedrun Mario, Spiderman and Alan Wake out of rotation.
It's almost like like not listening to your audience and just playing games because there new isn't a winning business strategy. 🤔

Just a reminder same guy rejected playing Baldur's Gate 3 because it's long has had multiple requests for that game. But, still continuing to drag Mario, Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake out like anyone gives a damn.

Ah yes, in my own Degree I do remember the Economics class.

Right after Adam Smiths 3 natural laws of economics and how supply side policy evolved from Keynesian economics there was indeed a module on the the inverse relationship between the economy and profitability of YouTube streamers.

We spent weeks on it, it’s a very well-researched academic conclusion.
Ah yes. As a man from an ex-Yu state I have learned in school about the hyperinflation of the dinar in the early 90s which caused peepol to drop their frivolous spending on things like ракија and immediately start spending more on their favorite internet schtreemers. Biznis degree being put to good use here!

He could "speed run" these games a little bit quicker if his prestreams weren't so goddamn long. But Dave is too much of a brick wall to grasp this concept, much less implement it.
This and he really should pick games that aren't just new AAA or AA fuckin' slop like these movie games where he insists on doing dumb shit like looking at every pixel on the stream.
That True Colors Life is Strange is the first time I recalled where he did exactly this.

It's funny how almost on track of knowing yeah, new games are full of this shit. But it's also him choosing open world slop, yet you see him play fuckin Mario trying to 100% while being super bad at it, so its taking longer.
Remember he just bitched about Sonic being super short.

Phil tells his audience that support is slow, chat is disengaged, chargebacks are back. Games are failing during a time when he normally sees a rallying of support.

The solution? Nothing he could do, things will blow over on their own.

Phil's so close to getting it, but his narcissism won't let him admit that he is the problem.
He's lucky that his narcissism prevents him from connecting the dots together.

Phil's not cut out to be a successful streamer. He was a video game streamer for about 5 seconds. The rest of the time he's been a full time beggar while playing games poorly.

If/when the day he comes to the conclusion that he's the problem will be the day he disappears from the internet. His life will be over. Phil's unable to function in the real world when it comes to holding a job.

Maybe he'll grift for disability. He does have a "bad" back by the way.

That would require him to see a doctor and, well, he ain't fooling any medical professionals.

Unemployment would be his only option and unfortunately for him? That requires putting in proof of actually trying to find a job on a regular basis. Still more work than he does now.

Phil would never get disability. He's more than proved he could make his living with his back problems and whatever mental problems he has. And then he'd have to prove that he doesn't have any income or assets coming in.

If Phil outlives his parents and his streaming career ends, he is really fucked.
