Ah yes, in my own Degree I do remember the Economics class.

Right after Adam Smiths 3 natural laws of economics and how supply side policy evolved from Keynesian economics there was indeed a module on the the inverse relationship between the economy and profitability of YouTube streamers.

We spent weeks on it, it’s a very well-researched academic conclusion.

My theory on the ads - It's punishment and it'll work. Punish the dents for not supporting like they are supposed too, but do it in the guise of guilting them for not supporting. Because after all, he really needs that support right now.

Dave has said numerous times that even if it's found to be credit card theft, he still gets those tips. So, more bullshit reconning. This is probably all made up.

Phil says he understands that he is different than other streamers, but he really doesn't. You aren't hearing about streamers going under because large streamers aren't going under. It's people you've never heard of going under and quitting. These people have hundreds of people contributing to them. You have 4. So if those 4 can no longer afford to contribute to you, you are going to notice and beg. If half of TimTheTatMans audience goes away, he'll notice, but it's won't be enough to sound the alarms and beg like you.
