Agreed, but with one exception: I bet next years bronycon will be like the planet of the apes with all the chimping out going on by his fellow bronys. It's the last event coinciding with the last season of MLP as they know it. I bet those bronys are gonna be off the fucking chain. By Sunday that place will be like the thunderdome..
That's hoping they're just as big of spurgs as Chris is. I still think Chris will outdo them all.

I guarantee whatever new show Hasbro makes won't be too different to the current one seeing how ridiculously lucrative it became.
With Fursuit orgies breaking out... god the fucking convention centre is going to need a full on purge team to deal with that mess.
All I can hope is that the convention is secretly a trap to imprison all these people and send them to another country or the bottom of the ocean.

I forget which thread it was posted in but one Brony is trying to organize a mass suicide to protest the new MLP. I wouldn't put Chris at the top of the Brony sperg list. Top 20 maybe haha

See, this is where Chris confuse the fuck out of me. He is desperate to save the cartoon animals he wishes to have sex with and goes on a long rant about how he met with them and begged him to save their cartoon souls, then in rhe very next sentance he asks the voice actors who play these characters help showing that he is well aware that the voices he does hear when he sits in front of his portal to cartoon world just belongs to general old humans.

Gooby said this a lot more thoughtfully a few pages ago, almost, but I don't think that Chris sees the VAs as deities so much as he sees them as interpreters, prophets if you like. Influential spreaders of the good word of the TRUE and HONEST gods and goddesses of his exceptional cartoon multiverse. The cartoon critters are the real deities. VAs are just their humble (Tara Strong? Humble? Ha!) intermediaries, high priests and priestesses trying to get us benighted heathens to listen and believe before it's too late. Hallelujahgobble!

So like the writers, artists, directors, editors, etc. are being influenced to depict the factual happenings of entities in another universe? That clears up Chris's logic a bit, even if it still is obviously insane.

Please, somebody find the post about a brony mass suicide, I need to know more! Is it legitimate or is some troll trying to trick a bunch of bronies into killing themselves?

Chris seems to have two conflicting beliefs about these other dimensions:

1. Creators can perceive what is happening in other dimensions and accurately document it through their creations, sort of like the religious concept of divine inspiration.
Here dimension has power over creator.

2. Creators create a story, and whatever they create happens in the other dimension.
Here creator has power over dimension.

The third option is that there is some kind of tug of war between dimension and creator, where one has some influence on the other, but neither has complete control of the other.

I don't know if Chris has thought about it enough to realize that he's working with two completely different ideas for how it works, but if you confronted him with this issue he'd probably have a think and arrive at the third option, as it's the only way to rationalize the two ideas together.

More like he'd probably go completely insane and then mace you.

Let me rephrase that, Chris is the most likely to play the role of village idiot #2 and be an easy target for expulsion post haste.

It makes sense in an autistic way, you just are stuck on thinking with real-world logic.

Chris basically believes that when a person creates a fictional world, that it sparks the existence of that corresponding non-fictional world in a sort of pocket-dimension, where all of the fictional characters actually live out the lives depicted in the fictional series (and beyond). That means that the crew working on MLP are basically gods, dictating the direction this new world they created will move in. Particularly, by revamping the series Chris assumes they abandon it and let chaos basically ruin the whole fictional pocket-dimension-world.

Obviously it's delusion, but as a concept it makes sense with the way Chris is acting. Earth is a world of unknowing gods in his mind, and he's reaching out to a group of these gods to convince them not to abandon the world they've created. Think Horton Hears a Who mixed with Roger Rabbit, Chris is an autistic Horton watching someone about to destroy a speck of dust that contains an entire world, even though to everybody else it's just a speck of dust. Chris thinks he's Horton trying to save the world he is sure exists, while everyone else is... everyone else in Horton Hears a Who.

So...basically like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, except instead of just sentient fantasy individuals (who it is acknowledged in the first episode can be straight copies - a clone of Mojo Jojo shows up as a split second example of an 'unoriginal' imaginary friend as well as a nod to PPG which the show's lead animator had spearheaded) it's literally entire fucking WORLDS.

I also will add that I know what was leaked about MLP G5 and it's an absolute nightmare for Chris (something I doubt he knows) because we are seriously looking at something six times worse than blue arms. They're changing up the species of three of the main six characters (series lead Twilight Sparkle is now an earth/regular pony for example) and the entire aesthetic looks significantly different (they're more realistically proportioned).

This is a problem for Chris because beyond himself having a billion different OP-God-Tier incarnations at once, he seems incapable of understanding that a character can exist in multiple variations at once when it comes to his primary interests. Specifically, Sonic, because he flipped his shit over the blue arms even though he recognized the why of it all, but he DIDN'T recognize that the official word from SEGA came down that Sonic Boom Sonic was an alternate universe version of the character.

Also, alicorns (read: the princess god horses of which Chris thinks his OC self-incarnation is one of) don't exist so there's that as well.

That's what's extra unsettling about this, like a few other people such as @Pony Horn have mentioned, at least with blarms he seemed to recognize that this was an artistic design choice made by actual humans. It was a stupid hill to die on, but at least it was fairly reasonable. Like "Sega made this change and I don't like it!". People get pissy about product changes all the time.

It didn't help that Chris amazingly wasn't the only sperg online who threw a hissy fit about the design change, which only reinforced his belief that his protest was working.

But this pony stuff.. It's like this shows that he's verifiably less sane than he was 4 years ago. I do think that if he sees the new cartoon, he'll learn to like it, but its a looooong way off before it starts. Plenty of time for him to go crazier and crazier. Plus, I'm already starting to see people on twitter feed into it. Will he mace somebody again? No, probably not, that was a pretty specific set of circumstances. But I do think he's entirely capable of doing something as bad or worse.

Plus, I'd be amazed if Barb somehow isn't dead in the next five years and thus gives Chris a shitload more problems, meaning he'll go back into CWCville to hide from reality even harder.

It's what The Wyze guy's played with him wanting to defend what He's created, and why he was able to be manipulated to preserve it. This reaction to change is just one of the other facets to it but rather than putting him in a preserving roll this sort of thing has him on the defensive it's why one of the things your not supposed to do with some kinds of schizophrenics is to confront them about there reality because they can and do get aggressive in an effort to defend it.

I'm not qualified to diagnose Chris and I doubt that anyone without spending a long time in person with Chris that has multiple honorifics after there name can, but Chris is most certainly mentally ill and the problems are increasing and might have even been present as far back as childhood and because of the distaste of diagnosing Children with mental health issues and the eagerness of the 80's an 90's to slap the Autisim label on kids with problems they missed it, and what we are seeing now is Chris's main issues coming to the fore and the problems are only going to get worse.

This isn't really new behavior, if I'm honest. This is exactly what happened with Simonla - that time nobody really understood what was going on and Chris was the catalyst to the whole affair by stealing somebody's idea for a character. But removing Simonla, which Chris fully understood was not born from his head alone, would damage CWCville in a way that he didn't want - and then going and killing her by his own hand wasn't enough, much to his horror, even though Sandy's entire reason for existence was to be a Simonla replacement to get around the whole thing in the first place. So he shut down and CWCville essentially went dormant for some time until the house fire really got those gears moving again.

With the Wise Guys, they essentially pulled the same thing except in a much more elaborate way that appealed to Chris on a subconcious level - specifically, the external affirmation by outside sources of his delusions. Chris was so willing to believe other people could know about CWCville the way he did that he readily accepted all the horrible, horrible things going on like the concentration camps and such, so long as it meant further evidence his fantasy world actually existed no matter how dystopian and facist it ended up - Chris honestly is too dim witted to realize what concentration camps actually were.

All I can hope is that the convention is secretly a trap to imprison all these people and send them to another country or the bottom of the ocean.

Why not just send them to Rapture and acomplish both at the same time?

Which really makes you wonder how he'd regard the voice actor for Sonic.

Isn't this basically the premise of the anime Re: Creators?

Granted, I've never even looked into Re: Creators but it sounds a lot like what I've heard is the basic plot.

Fuck it, I'm booking my plane and hotel for the last brony-con right now. If I get to see Chris carry out an act of terrorism, it would be a very unique and once in a lifetime experience. If it doesn't happen, being surrounded by that many spergs on the east coast, the experience would still be a worthwhile endeavor.

I hope the brony suicide cult happens and Chris stands on a pile of corpses making a stress sigh before moving on to an anime adaptation of the x-files.

I'm honestly thinking about buying a ticket, at least one noteworthy thing happens every BC and it will be an absolute study in craziness next year. Quote and mock me when I'm wrong if you will, but I'm predicting 5 police escorts from the con, minimum.

Nah, Chris is fully aware it's a nightmare for him. He wrote a little story in his head about it, saying Twilight (purple god-horse with horns and wings) wanted to give Applejack horns and wings and make her a god too, but the spell screwed up and gave Pinkie Pie (the pink one) wings and Fluttershy (the flying yellow one) her horn. That basically sums up the changes, he forgot to explain why the yellow one would lose it's wings while gaining a horn, but other than that he probably did many frantic google searches about the changes to find out exactly what they entail.

I think people are overestimating his hate of change. He likes change sometimes, he hates change that he can't rationalize within his stories in his head. He isn't trying to stop G5 forever and keep G4 exactly the same, he just wants to delay G5 until G4 finishes the story Chris assumes is supposed to be told, and apparently that will take 5 seasons. See, the first couple seasons of G4 culminated with purple-horse going from normally strong to god-type Alicorn, basically, which personally speaks to Chris because ALL of his OC characters ALWAYS do that, including his MLP mary sue. So Chris saw this story development, and assumed the 6 main cast are destined to become Alicorn (they really shouldn't be, in-universe), and wants the story to continue until they reach that goal. He's even campaigning as if Applejack is supposed to be next up, becoming an Alicorn before the other 4. See, it's not that he hates change or he'd want Applejack to stay the same, he actually wants to change her base character MORE than G5, which at least keeps her an earth-pony (the mud-blood basic bitches of MLP) and not turn her into a godlike Alicorn.

I'm familiar with the show, which just makes it more jaw dropping at how Chris thinks all of them need to become fucking god horses because the student of the first god horse became one. He completely misses the point of the main characters being the way they are because of who they are and not because of some non-existent narrative where they all become princesses or some shit.

Hell, AFAIK, the actual individual characters have already achieved what vague life goals they set out to have - blue horse became part of the Wondebolts flying team, white horse is a big fashion designer name now, and really that's it because Fluttershy, Pinkie, and AJ really didn't have life goals they weren't already living.

Though maybe it might be an insight to Chris's strange mind that he thinks that a story can't end until all the main characters achieve godhood.
