The only way it'll be good in this day and age is if they got someone well known and respected in the animation industry on board like they did with G4. Like Alex Hirsch or someone of that caliber.

As much as this has roots with how much he loves the show, I bet in truth the bigger part of it is that he only just now (as of Monday, how did I miss this thread for so long?) learned next year was the final Bronycon.

So Chris is basically saying every fictional place made up by television, comic and film writers are actually real and will be affected by a new generation of My Little Pony.
Now we only need a Crisis on Infinite Earths-type cataclysm in MLP to see Chris truly meltdown.

It would be great if the creators of FiM did something for the final episode like either have the characters spend the whole episode criticizing all adult fans of the show and calling them creeps, losers, and perverts, or killed off the entire cast in terrible, gory ways. It would be interesting to see the reaction from bronies after seeing their favorite pastel pony they like to stroke it to spindled, mutilated, and eviscerated (or telling them they're a creepy loser who will never get laid). The final image could be the corpses of the "Mane Six" with a caption reading "The Maimed Six". It would be worth it just for all the brony salt (and to see Chris freak out).

It's not quite so direct but a lot of slice-of-life anime, and other general "cute girls doing cute things" anime, have jokes that are un-subtle direct jabs at the main audience; young-adult losers who spend a fuckload on keychains and posters. They love it.
MLP could probably pull the same thing and get away with it.

According to his 'prophetic dream' it won't be created so much as split off from the current dimension, and taking half the power along with it, causing both dimensions to be weak and half power, leading to a takeover by Thanos-I-mean-Akan and the ripple effect will spread across multiple cartoon and comic dimensions that Chris loves, despite whomever owns the actual IPs for them. Yeah.
That...was...AWESOME. My opinion of bronies has risen a full 2 notches on my 'scale of respect'.

For real. I once caught my Chef's son watching some weird MLP fan video where they were Zombies and it was some cross between MLP and Five Nights at Freddy. I told the boy "Of all cartoons, never watch My Little Pony." and he agreed with me.
@The Dude clearly doesn't have a clue what a joke MLP:FiM actually is to the demographic that it actually belongs to. He just likes to be an extreme A-Log all the time and insult what he doesn't like on a regular basis.

I'm sure I'm giving Wise way too much credit, but all this new "Akan" stuff.. I mean it would certainly benefit Wise to keep Chris worried about some multi-franchise inter-dimensional holocaust over trying to recoup his money. Plus it's making Chris look crazy as fuck.

Chris is saying that equestria will be attacked by Akan, Akan is the lead antagonist of Hardcore Henry - but Akan also had a brief appearance as a villain in Payday 2.
Payday 2 is a game Joshua Wise (Idea Guy) was obsessed with, he would make Chris play it and he tried to implement the characters from that game into the Sonichu comics.
I highly doubt this is Idea Guy still trying to mess with Chris, specially since Null and The Captain are watching his back. So I think it's one of the many things that stuck with Chris from Idea Guy.
