I just want to point out that in the Hindu and Buddhist schools that teach advanced meditation, visualization, mantras etc you are required to have a highly trained teacher specifically to avoid what Chris(tine) has fallen into, which they call "spiritual arrogance". It's when people declare themselves divinity or more spiritual than others.
It's actually very common among New Age types who study without teachers. Lamas and so on are very reluctant to work with people who behave like this. YouTube and spiritual conventions are full of them. They all have some pet theory cobbled together from a few dozen books or videos, they don't commit to traditional training styles (aka discipline), and if you try to help them they get offended or argue about trivial things until you give up.
These people get lost in the fantasies they create, or in the meditative states they experience, or their dreams, tv shows, books, everything becomes significant and they often become neurotic because they think they are "chosen by God(bear)" but like that Brad Miami dude, no one listens to or believes them. They are never taught to filter things appropriately, they are never forced to deal with constructive criticism because they consider themselves above it, and usually they don't know very much about the traditions they claim to follow to the point that you could often read a single book and school them in a debate. Imagine a Christian who doesn't know about prayer, or a Buddhist that had never heard of resting their mind, and you've got the approximate ignorance level.
Worst bit is, because they don't realize how inappropriate their understanding is, they try to teach others, creating the clusterfuck of ignorance that Chris(tine) is now trying to foist onto others.
