Getting your house listed as a business is easy. Homes I've owned/own are the "Corp HQ" over the years for one or more LLC/INC companies. With proper paperwork all you get is a percentage deducted of the portion of house used for business reasons etc.

Not withstanding, the homes and area are zoned R E S I D E N T I A L and banks don't give a shit. Banks also don't like being landlords, they dump within 12 months typically for the most they can get to recoup the debt. Longest I saw was 2 years at $106K in GA and the walls were covered in urine.

If there's a reverse mortgage or lien etc or new mortgage on 14BC and Chris defaults, it would take 3-6 months in VA of missed payment before foreclosure process begins.

There was a subreddit last year dedicated to reporting them, IIRC. It has literally no taxation or legal implications.

Also valid is the fact that foreclosure does usually take some time. Even if Barb died today, he could keep paying the mortgage and stay for some time. Now, when Barb's creditors come after the house, it's a different story, but they still wouldn't be able to toss him out right away.

so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet but Chris thinks that Google controls the poke stops and adding his house as a business as will increase his chances of turning his private property into one which I don't believe Niantic will bite at this. alternatively, he could use another game controlled by Niantic called ingress. if you make it to level 16 in ingress and are in good community standings you can "apply" for a portal. once you got a portal in ingress Niantic makes it a poke stop in pokemon go. that's if there are no poke stops near you and considering he is in the middle of a rural area the pokemon go people aren't going to start throwing them in the middle of private property.
so Chris did this to make a poke stop only to not have done any research on how to make a poke stop and this has all been a big waste of time but a small giggle.

I hope he doesn't learn this, if his house becomes a pokestop he won't need to go anywhere to get a refill on his pokeballs and he could sit in bed playing the game all day instead, and completely miss the point of Pokémon go.
Also it's funnier if he just spends a long time doing stuff like this and making videos addressed to Google, trying to get his house turned into a pokestop.
